I stayed at the Trilogy site. I stayed in my own tent, but there is a suspended tent available on site. It also had a picnic table, fire, pit, and outdoor shower. I hiked around the property and took part in the axe throwing board. That was a lot of fun. I drove down the road a mile to the beach and did some fishing and came back to the site that evening to cook dinner and hang out around the fire. Ian is a great host. He included firewood and farm fresh eggs for me. I used one of the eggs to put on my burger that I cooked that evening. You can’t see anyone on the other sites from where you are at, you can at times hear some of the other people in the distance, but I was surrounded by good people in a safe area. I would recommend the site to anyone doing a solo camp, family camp, or other group camp. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 💯

Had a great time would definitely recommend staying the land is great and the occasional guinea at your front door never gets old the beach access is also amazing nice and secluded and plenty of space to bring a pet and have a fun stay

The treehouse was so cozy , especially at night with the fairy lights. It had everything we needed for a relaxing camping trip and plenty of land for my dog to walk around. Would definitely come back & Ian was very helpful!

Sharp’s Island was an awesome getaway. We enjoyed the river and watching all of the wildlife. Andy was super responsive throughout the trip. Highly recommend!

Beautiful site! We loved the tree house and had a wonderful time staying here. We were excited to play the N64 and use the telescope, and also enjoyed just sitting in and around the tree house. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off after visiting the beach, and for washing dishes. We needed Ian's assistance a couple of times, and he was incredibly helpful and kind. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay in the beautifully built stargazer cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved being so close to the beaches; the area has tons of wildlife. Ian is an awesome host! We can't wait to go back!

Weekend Trip to The Guinea Farm, Field, and Forest
Staying at Ian's farm was a fun, relaxing experience! Ian was a really great, gracious host and we enjoyed getting to meet him and all the birds! We got a tour of the farm and got to hold and meet the birds after we arrived. We opted for the firewood challenge to see how much we could carry, which was a good time. The stargazer cabin is really well-built, cozy, and a nice, quiet getaway. We felt safe in the cabin even though there was a huge thunderstorm during our stay. The cabin's kitchen had everything you needed, the outdoor shower and composting toilet were comfortable to use, and the bed in the loft made for good sleep. The guinea fowl will keep you constant company, and they're so fun to watch and listen to! The beaches nearby are quiet and super quick to get to. Nearby Matthews also has a really good grocery store and small downtown for extra treats during the day or for picking up stuff to cook on the way to the cabin. We'd definitely visit again and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get out to the country for a bit!

3 nights at The Guinea Farm, Field, and Forest
Treehouse was amazing. Ian works every day improving his sites. He thought of everything from wifi to Fairy lights. The grill is perfect for cooking anything you need. My daughter and I really enjoyed our time there and meeting all the animals. Snuggling with a baby goose might have been her favorite part of our trip!

Amenities galore! N64 with projector, gas grill, WiFi, USB fans, rocking camp chairs, citronella candle, amazing treehouse w/doors and windows to open or close. Already-inflated air mattresses on single cots were ready for our pillows and sleeping bags- the tent was very roomy, easily fit 4+, had a lantern, and let us wake up gently to bird sounds. Watched guineas in the field among fragrant wisteria blooms. Small beach nearby.

We had the loveliest time at the Stargazer Tiny Cabin! Ian was an excellent host the kids were stoked to get to hold baby chicks and goslings and meet all the other birds! Highly recommend staying here. I know we’ll be back.

Best camping trip ever! Beautiful land with lots of privacy. The porta potty was very clean and the site was well maintained. Ian was very accommodating and he gave us an awesome tour of the fowl. We were able to hold the babies and got an entire science lesson. We will definitely be going back again and again.

We had a blast camping out on Sharp's Island! It was a spontaneous adventure and I'm so glad we were able to book. The island is such a cool spot, we had amazing sunset views and ample room to set up. Andy is a great host, and I'd definitely recommend staying here! The canoe ride over isn't very far and is safe, and Andy will tell you (and like other reviews have said) just pay attention to the tides and river water levels! If you can, time your crossings closer to high tide when the current isn't as strong. If the river is high and it's low tide, paddling to the island can be more of a workout!
