Our cozy, private, rustic mountain yurt is a 30’ foot space located in an upper field tucked into a wooded hillside. The cabin is a 1.5 mile walk to the Historic Stowe Village so it is very conveniently located to many restaurants and hikes like Stowe Pinnacle. It is a unique experience for 2-3 people in a small cabin with a firewood hot tub, cold tub soak in a gazebo, a wood stove sauna, two fire pits, an outhouse, a screened porch and grill. Another good feature is that dogs are welcome and have room to roam and relax. Rick was very responsive and accommodating in making sure we were comfortable with everything. He provided great suggestions for dining and hikes. We had another nice stay in beautiful Stowe for a popular fall foliage weekend.

The perfect place to get away from the daily hustle. The cabin was well built and surprisingly insulated. The well-thought out design provided plenty of room. The location is far enough off the beaten path, but close enough to civilization to grab supplies if you needed to. The basic kitchen cooking utensils are provided. We will definitely be back. It was an absolutely enjoyable stay.

This place was AWESOME! Rick provided everything we needed and more. He even had the sauna hot and ready for us when we arrived! The cabin was in the perfect location, close to everything. 1 night at ZenDen in Stowe
My husband and I have traveled all over the world and I have to say this is one of my favorite stays ever! Dr Rick was an awesome host, so many thoughtful touches… loved the Buddha incense burner, with plenty of incense to burn, an endless supply of wood for the wood fired sauna and hot tub, and fire pit . Best of all the cabin is located just a short distance from downtown Stowe Vermont, Smugglers Notch State Park, endless hiking trails and waterfalls.
Hotels in Stowe are super expensive but the ZenDen offers all this at a very affordable price. We’ll definitely be back on our next New England road trip!

We loved staying at Darren's yurt. It was cozy and well-appointed. The picnic table, fire pit, fire wood, and maple syrup for sale on-site were also nice touches. Note, that the drive to the campsite from the road was quite treacherous, even with 4-wheel drive. We recommend for those with vehicles that are high off the ground. Darren was a wonderful, communicative, and helpful host!

We loved camping at dome @ the meadows! The campsite has everything you could want and need and is unbelievably peaceful. On a clear night, the sky glows with stars, and if you stay at campsite B you’ll fall asleep to the sound of running water from the stream that’s nearby. Nelson was super attentive to our needs, we had a winter freeze on the first night we stayed there, and the next morning he came to check on us and even brought us a space heater so we would sleep comfortable the second night. Can’t recommend this place enough! Will definitely become a regular camping spot for us.

Went for a women’s trip, 4 of us. Normally we remote camp but wanted something easier. It’s glamping and was nice to have an indoor space for sleeping and one for cooking.
The land is beautiful. Jill even let us use a shower in her barn as the solar shower wasn’t working. That was nice after long hikes!
The outhouse is a bit of a walk from the yurt.
The wood stove made it cozy as temps dropped to 40’s at night.
Electricity made it very easy.

The parking lot at the inn was a perfect spot for our camper and a place to rest our heads! It was wonderful! We added a bathroom which was so clean and just what we needed after the spartan race at Killington! Elizabeth was beyond friendly and accommodating- I would highly recommended staying here to others. The small parts of the Inn we got to walk through were absolutely beautiful as well. We had a wonderful stay at this campsite! The place is very clean, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful — the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The host was thoughtful and provided supplies like sunscreen, bug repellent, and sanitizer, which made our stay extra convenient. The toilets and showers were spotless, and we really appreciated the attention to cleanliness throughout the site.
Another nice touch was the solar lighting — enough to guide you safely at night without disturbing the natural darkness and stargazing experience. Overall, a very well-maintained and welcoming campsite. We’d definitely stay here again!

Darren was the perfect host! Very responsive .The property is peaceful and private! We loved everything about Campsite B at dome@themeadows. My family and I camped for my birthday, and we had an absolute blast! The recommended waterfall hike by Nelson is an absolute must!! We went there first thing in the am and were able to do a birthday photo shoot with the waterfall, and it was Amazing!! We loved how campsite B is so easily accessible to the river. We floated on tubes in the sun looking at the beautiful views. They also had all kinds of extras we all loved! Latterball, cornhole, disc golf, a generator(for the air mattress) wood swing, 2 picnic tables, hammock..ect. It was definitely a cozy site. There is one other site, and they are where you can see, but they were respectful and never bothered us at all. Only a porter potty, but kept very clean!! The only thing which was a little hard, was that none of us were able to get any wifi or data service, so we had no idea where anything was once we left camp. (But honestly no cell time was good) I was nervous where we've never used Hipcamp, but it felt very safe. We loved the campsite, and can't wait to go back. We made wonderful family memories for our first camping trip with the two teens!!!

Elizabeth and her husband were incredibly accommodating and easy to be around- the facilities for primitive camp were above and beyond (hot showers, bathrooms, bike storage, flat ground, incredible food, beer and wine available)
