Most sites have air conditions or fans, as well as heaters in season. 110 power is at each site... We have a Grumpy Dragon Cafe outside with a help yourself breakfast bar. In the winter, you have 7 ski resorts to choose from, skiing on arguably the 'greatest snow on earth'. With Alta only 22 minutes away, you can ski one of three ski-only resorts in the world. Or, choose boarding at the fun-filled terrain park of Brighton. Park City is the largest resort in the USA and is only 45 minutes away. For city amenities, Sandy has everything. Multiple RV suppliers and repair shops, tire shops, and all the equipment stores you would ever need, including an REI. We have grocery stores from Trader Joe's down the street, to a Kroger a couple of minutes away and a Wholefoods 15min away. Sandy has many great family restaurants and coffee shops and is only a short drive (or light-rail ride) into downtown Salt Lake City which is packed with world-class cuisine and entertainment. This is a great rest area tucked away behind a hilly landscape and out of sight of Hwy 40. Newly installed is a rustic country style privacy fence. This is a no frills campsite where you will need to provide your own water, toilet and firewood (We can provide firewood for an extra fee). There is a rest stop with restrooms just down the road going east on hwy 40 if needed. Pack it in and pack it out.

Water and 30AMP 40ft site. Dump Stations close by. The site is nestled in very special part of the Sandy suburbs, where every property has a mini farm. As you stroll these quiet tree-lined roads, you will discover horses, alpacas, chickens, and many other friendly RVers. With towering mountain views and golden sunsets, you will feel the campground vibes you are used to. Where we are, the pace is slow. We usually wake up to horse whinnies and fresh eggs from our chickens. Your friendly dogs and horses are welcome too. We have a paddock, terrace, firepit and some of the best mountain views in the valley. The site can accommodate up to 40ft, with additional with road parking for tow/toad vehicles. The site is mostly shaded, but also has clear skies for a Starlink. In the summer, the site is 5 minutes to mountain trails, 5 minutes to an equestrian trail area, 10 minutes to an epic mountain biking single track area, 18 minutes to Snowbird for tram rides to the top of the Wasatch, summer concerts and Oktoberfest. In the winter, you have 7 ski resorts to choose from, skiing on arguably the 'greatest snow on earth'. With Alta only 22 minutes away, you can ski one of three ski-only resorts in the world. Or, choose boarding at the fun-filled terrain park of Brighton. Park City is the largest resort in the USA and is only 45 minutes away. For city amenities, Sandy has everything. Multiple RV suppliers and repair shops, tire shops, and all the equipment stores you would ever need, including an REI. We have grocery stores from Trader Joe's down the street, to a Kroger a couple of minutes away and a Wholefoods 15min away. Sandy has many great family restaurants and coffee shops and is only a short drive (or light-rail ride) into downtown Salt Lake City which is packed with world-class cuisine and entertainment. Sandy is home to Utah's hockey team and soccer teams, a training center for the Utah Jazz and a beautiful new Theatre with Broadway shows playing regularly. What a beautiful experience. We stayed for two nights and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The weather was perfectly crisp and fall-like, and Lynnellen made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. She shared fresh vegetables from her garden and repeatedly encouraged us to make ourselves comfortable, and we truly felt like we could. Each morning, she made us breakfast that left our bellies happy and full, and Sunday dinner was incredibly nourishing. The conversations we shared were filled with warmth and sincerity. You can tell Lynnellen is someone full of love and joy who genuinely wants to share it with others, and you can see that same spirit reflected in the people passing through her home. If you’re looking for a place that radiates community, love, and connection, this is it. Our hearts feel very full after just two days here. Weekend Trip to Tiny Shiny Escape, River Runs Thru!
This place was great! The sounds of the creek were nice. The host was great and very helpful. The hangout area behind our teardrop camper was a little small since we had our two dogs, but the road was great for walks with them so it worked out just fine. The spring down the road is delicious. Looks like there is a lot to do around the area, we were just stopping overnight on a road trip so didn’t have time for much.
