The beauty of our location is that we are hidden in a small (little green) valley, just south of Richfield and right at the base of Monroe Mountain. We have the best location and views in the area of Monroe and Richfield! We designed our park to give our guests a taste of small town life. All of our spaces are very large and you will not feel like you are right on top of your neighbor. Whether you are camping for a weekend or living the RV life you will love out park! You will be able to hop on an ATV trail directly from the park which will connect to hundreds of miles of trails nearby. Being 5 minutes from two different hot springs, you can easily enjoy a sunset or sunrise sitting in the springs. There is a fishing pond owned by Monroe City two blocks from the park and we are only an hour and a half from Bryce Canyon and an hour and a half from Capitol Reef. We are centrally located between the Mighty Five. (Canyonlands, Zion, Arches, Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon). * Wildlife - In late summer, cattle graze nearby. In spring, you may see sheep and baby lambs on the way to the south beach access.
There are rattle snakes, bunnies, and we’ve seen a scorpion or two.
*Weather - Summer days can be quite hot with cooler nights. There is no shade on the property. Wind gusts carrying dust can occur. It’s a good idea to check weather app for conditions.
*Landscape/Views - Utah natural landscape changes markedly with the seasons. Some photos may reflect green grasses, when these dry out mid summer, they can produce fine stickers to be aware of with long hair pets, kids, and ankles in general.
Views can change depending on developing neighboring properties.
Sunsets either at the lake or the property are unobstructed and often dramatic. Night sky viewing is also pretty awesome as there is very little light pollution.

We loved camping at Sandy Beach. We camped Sunday-Monday and we had the site to ourselves. Cows were by the beach and amazing views. We rented a kayak and Parker had it ready for us. We definitely recommend this camp site and will be back again.

We were immediately greeted and even given a tour of the place right away, we felt welcomed and really enjoyed the positive friendliness vibes here. The land is absolutely a special place with an amazing 35mile bike ride trail that loops right to the park entrance, that had some of the best views Iv ever biked. We can’t wait to come back.

This site is located an a lovely farm and as it has only one site, you have complete privacy. The host was a very friendly gentleman who welcomed me on arrival and checked again on me in the morning but otherwise left me to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Directions and communication were excellent. It was easy to find. I had read some reviews about it being windy and I got lucky and had no wind.!
It was chilly… First ice on my windshield all season! There is another house right there which at first seems a little invasive, but actually it felt safer to me to know people were around as I was traveling solo.

Our family just recently spent 4 nights tent camping at the Haward Family Ranch and enjoyed every moment of our stay.
The ranch was well maintained, beautiful and way better than expected. The port-a potties were clean, firewood was provided and we absolutely loved the green plush grass. Having the whole site to our selfs made it very private, peaceful and relaxing. We had a fun time playing tether ball and using the swing set. We also loved the fact that it was conveniently located near stores and hiking trails.
Definitely recommend others to stay and would love to visit again in the future.

We loved our time at Parker's beach site! We camped at Beach Site 1 and had a great time. Would recommend bringing bug spray, as we started to fight some mosquitoes after the sun went down, but beyond that, the night was great. Parker was a great host and was very responsive - We bought firewood from him and had a nice big fire in one of the big firepit bowls. The bathroom house was awesome, just a bit of a walk from the beach. Our sleep was excellent, and we had a great drive into SLC the next day. Would absolutely recommend camping here!

Directions were good site is very unique beautiful surroundings wide open space.
It gets pretty windy and at at dusk, we were dealing with a bunch of bugs. They didn’t sting, but there were lots of them.
There’s a bathroom and a shower. It’s fairly basic no hot water but of course you are very remote there.
Host was very responsive and informative.
Would definitely stay there again as it is so very unique to wake up and be on a beach!
