This part of the country is home to textured red rock, blue skies, and numerous desert flora and fauna, making it an ideal spot for photographers. Some of the animals you might spot include owl, bear, mountain lion, bobcat, deer, coyote, turkey, snakes, lizards, as well as many different types of birds. Such an amazing location! What a gem! It felt safe to be there with my kids, my dog had TONS of space to run around, and there was so much room for other campers we felt almost alone. The mountain views were breathtaking and the sunrise/sunset was amazing. I'm so happy I found this place, I'll definitely be back!

Loved the location as it was convenient to access the West Rim Trail along with a couple others nearby . View of the lake was beautiful and the campsite itself wasn't busy during my time of visit . Beautiful time to go see Zion . Owner was very informative as well . Amazing trip to say the least !

Kolob is always beautiful! It was also my friends’ first time visiting, and they absolutely loved it. A few things though ; we weren’t informed ahead of time that the General Store was closed, so we had to drive back to town (about 45 minutes each way) to grab some last-minute essentials. Unfortunately, we had to go home a day early because there was construction right in front of our campsite, which really ruined the whole camping experience.
On the bright side, I have AT&T and surprisingly had signal, so I was able to call and update my family.
