This space is an ever evolving labor of love, designed as a cozy retreat for family, friends. volunteers and guests. 
We are a burgeoning co-op farm and native plant nursery.

 Our 10 acre property is conveniently  located just off of I-70 in the beautiful Sevier Valley. Our comfy accommodations are cozy year round. Each spot has a fire pit and picnic table. Our silo restroom/kitchenette is a shared space and located mid camp. 

 Monroe hot springs are nearby,. Bryce canyon and Capital Reef are less than an hour away! There are several local hikes and and world class bike and ATV trails.

Welcome to Capitol Reef Country!&nbsp;Road to the Sun Ranch is located in beautiful Grover, Utah (elev 7,200') along Scenic&nbsp;Highway 12, one of the most scenic drives in the United States. We are a pet friendly RV only campsite. The property is a short 6 mile drive from the quaint town of Torrey, host of the annual Fort Desolation Festival&nbsp;and 15 miles by car from Capitol Reef National Park. Our location provides RV travelers with an ideal base camp for exploring the natural wonders of this region of&nbsp;Southern Utah and the majestic Boulder Mountain. The property consists of&nbsp;mostly pasture&nbsp;land, desert sage, pinyon pine trees and panoramic mountain views. The ranch is surrounded by some of the most amazing scenery anywhere and endless&nbsp;outdoor opportunities!&nbsp;We have a single (self check-in)&nbsp;RV/trailer/van parking area complete with water, power, sewer, WiFi and picnic table.&nbsp;All guests MUST have their own bathroom, clean up after pets and pack out any trash.&nbsp;We are unable to accommodate tent or car camping anywhere on the property unless you are with a group that has a trailer or RV equipped with a bathroom available for use during your stay and no open wood burning fires are permitted at this time. Max trailer length is 28'. Max RV length is 35'.&nbsp; Class A motor homes are not recommended.  Livestock enjoy the adjacent pastures during Summer and Fall months typically (June-September). The RV site is available&nbsp;seasonally from&nbsp;April - October.

Welcome to the Farm

Easy access to campsite on a 15 acre farm.  Campsite is close to owners home with access to lawn for tents.  The beautiful sounds of birds can be heard nestlings in the trees.  

If you are lucky you may experience the smell of fresh cut hay and indulge in the fresh home grown fruit in the fall that owners will share with you.

Always relaxing to see the gorgeous sunsets as you sit by a fire or just relax in the great outdoors.  Access is easy via paved county road.

A picnic table is yours to use while sitting in the shade of trees.     The campsite is a single campsite but large enough for trucks with trailers or motorhomes.. The site is close to the many piute trail atv trails in the area and other off road access.  Many beautiful mountain drives both paved and unpaved are nearby.   The site has wifi, electricity and well water,

Darrell's Oasis

Dry camp RV site situated in a historic farmstead. There is no electricity or water connected to the site. In between the Tushar and Forshea Mountain ranges we invite you to enjoy our local scenic beauty and the beauty of the nearby national parks, including Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef. This site is also near multiple fishing locations and ATV trails. With plenty of fun for any kind of outdoor activity nearby we have a quiet, beautiful place to rest and recuperate for your next adventure.

Red River Camp - Capitol Reef

Welcome to Red River Camp! Our camp sites highlight the beautiful red cliff backdrop infamous in southern Utah. Only 10 minutes from Capitol Reef National Park! 

Come relax and stay the night before you go out to hike, sight see, climb, off-road, fish etc. The opportunity for adventure is endless. 

Our family built the Red River Ranch many years ago and we are excited to share the beautiful surroundings with people that share our love for the outdoors. 

Guests will have a private camp site and access to their own fire pit, shared picnic table, shared trash, and shared toilet. No access to water, electricity, or sewer. Cell phone service should work great!
