We are a great spot to stay and have onsite a zip line into Lake Elevate, water slide into the pond, adventure island, zipline, kayaking, paddle boarding,
catch and release fishing, and close to all fun in the San Rafael Swell.
20 min or so from three reservoirs for additional fishing,
swimming and motor boating, 30 minutes from the Little Grand Canyon for breathtaking views, hiking and mountain biking, petroglyphs and the San Rafael Swell river to float on, 60 minutes from Goblin Valley, within 60 minutes to multiple slot canyons: Little Wild Horse Canyon, Muddy Creek, The Chute (similar to Zion National Park), Baptist Draw, to name a few.

Our family just recently spent 4 nights tent camping at the Haward Family Ranch and enjoyed every moment of our stay.
The ranch was well maintained, beautiful and way better than expected. The port-a potties were clean, firewood was provided and we absolutely loved the green plush grass. Having the whole site to our selfs made it very private, peaceful and relaxing. We had a fun time playing tether ball and using the swing set. Read other reviews that finding the sites was a bit of a challenge because there were no markings or numbering so we planned it to make sure we arrived when there was enough daylight to find our way around. The host was very helpful and proactive in switching our initial site 8 to site 1 since we weren’t driving a AWD vehicle. We were able to find the right site relatively easy with the detour directions and google pin we received.
I will say this was a bit of a different experience than we were expecting but it turned out to be perfect. We had extra time so ended up hiking several of the trails that surprisingly were not crowded for such a nice area.
There was a lot of noise from four wheelers and cars on the main road at night so bring ear plugs if you plan to go to sleep before 10p.
The description for the Easy Access Site says it only fits 1 tent but we were able to squeeze a 2 person and 4 person tent on the established tent spot.
I recommend this camp if you are comfortable and use to dusty steep unpaved rocky roads and you plan to make use of the near by trail system.
Thanks for making this affordable unique location available for weary drivers just looking for a place to put a tent with opportunities to get a hike in if time permits.

We had a great time! Lacy was very responsive and helpful at every step of the way. There were plenty of picnic tables, camp stoves, strong lights and a canopy on-site which made a group camping trip a delightful breeze. We enjoyed kayaking and playing in the pond and wish we had booked 2 nights instead of 1! We will definitely book again.

Michele was a great host! She responded to messages on a timely manner and answered all the questions I had! I really appreciated the “private property “ and gate. I took my 2 sons camping for two nights, I felt really comfortable and safe. I’d loved that the campsite next to trails that were fun to enjoy with my boys. I look forward to visiting again!

This is our second visit to the Swell Retreat and we can’t wait to go back for our next visit! There are so many amenities and the owners are incredibly kind and accommodating. The sites are all fully stocked with everything you could possibly want or need. The water activities are AMAZING! Our kids absolutely love it, our dogs love it, and so do we.

We loved camping at the Cormi Creek for my husband's 30th birthday. We were a big group of 14 and Cory was so kind to accommodate us. Its a well thought of site - with all amenities like the lights, bbq grill and chairs. It was a clear night and we could see the milky way galaxy. Very peaceful, quiet, refreshing and clean. Cory sent us so many additional pictures of the site and was very responsive, would be back here to camp soon!

The most amazing getaway! Perfect for families or couples. The hosts Ben & Lacy were the MOST AMAZING hosts. We rode the horses and had so many laughs. I enjoyed our time tent camping here. Make sure you feel comfortable mountain driving, the road to get up is pretty steep and may be intimidating to some. But when you get up there, the view and spot is totally worth it. :)

This is my favorite campsite we've ever stayed at, it's great for kids and dogs! The campsites are very nice (comes with water, grills, covered tables) and we rented one of their trailers to stay in which was also great. The water activities onsite are amazing - the water is pretty warm so swimming is enjoyable, (I have thyroid issues AND I'm pregnant so I'm extremely sensitive to the cold and even I had no problem in the water) and there are a bunch of kayaks and stuff that were super fun too. The hosts are very nice and helpful. We were super delayed in getting here so we arrived close to 11pm and they were still here to greet us and show us to our campsite. They even helped us transfer our stuff to the campsite. Would definitely recommend this place!!

The site was great. We felt like we were the only ones there. She checked in on us while we were setting up to make sure we were ok, and we were. Our campsite was sheltered from the wind, and it was great. This is my second stop at this site, and both times have been awesome.

This place was perfect. We were able to feel far away from everything, but close to everything at the same time. Michelle was very helpful and responsive. She set up our camp to be just right for us. I highly recommend it. My wife isn't a camper, but we had a queen bed in in the bell tent and restaurants nearby, so we didn't have to cook.
