Most sites have air conditions or fans, as well as heaters in season. 110 power is at each site... We have a Grumpy Dragon Cafe outside with a help yourself breakfast bar. This Outpost and campground is located on 300 acres of private property surrounded by park and public land. It has been here for over 30 years in some form or another. We are Caleb & Amber who enjoyed managing this little oasis in the middle of the desert from March to June of 2017 when we decided to purchase the business & make it our own. This is a dry, rugged campground with a bathhouse that provides coin operated showers and flush toilets. In addition there is little old rustic camp store placed in the middle of nowhere where we provide fuel, snacks, firewood, ice, showers, cold drinks & more. If you are looking for a more private site with lots of space and shade, book our Small Group at the Rocks. For a warmer stay during the cooler months book one of our Glamping Tents listed. We have the larger, and spacious tent in the grove of the Juniper Trees (which is also amazing in the warmer season) and rent a heater from us inside the general/camp store. Please check with us on fire restrictions, hipcamp is often wrong on their assumptions, we rarely have fire restrictions. BE SURE TO GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIME TO CHECK IN NO LATER THAN 5PM. We are a family owned and operated RV Park that has RV Sites, Cabins, Tent spaces, and immaculate Shower/Laundry facilities. We are located directly on the Main Street of Escalante, Utah and are nestled against the Escalante Grand Staircase. We are not only the perfect basecamp for exploration of the Staircase but so much more! We are ideally situated between Bryce NP, Capital Reef NP, Dixie National Forest, Petrified Forest State Park, Glen Canyon Recreation Area and within walking distance to the Dining, Pubs and Groceries that Escalante has to offer. Canyons of Escalante RV Park is conveniently located on Main Street of Escalante, UT. Within walking distance to local eateries and shopping. Our Standard sites are pull through, accommodating RVs up to 28' in length. Full hookups with 30 amp service, Wi-Fi, shower and laundry facility nearby. Perfect for smaller motor homes, tent trailers, pods, vans, truck campers, etc. We are also pet friendly, have bathroom facilities and hot showers! Our cabins are away from the RV sites in a secluded area surrounded by beautiful gardens and walkways. It was a full hookup site. We found it to be private and seamless experience. The road noise was a bit more than anticipated but it’s quieter at night and sleeping was not an issue. . The main building had really nice public areas and bathrooms. It’s solid for the price and I went like I received a fair deal.

Weekend Trip to The Needles Outpost Campground

This was one of the most unforgettable stays of our lives! Incredible climbing up the rocks that hugged our campsite to watch the sunset over Canyonlands. Caleb and Amber were nothing but helpful and in addition to stewarding this magical place, run a very cool little shop. We loved seeing Amber’s ceramics and watercolors there and picking up special camp treats.

We loved staying here on our rental RV even for just one night! It was in a perfect spot in Moab and close to the Arches and main city. The campground is clean and modern which came with nice amenities like bathrooms, showers, pool, dog park, etc. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Weekend Trip to The Rockin Robbins Ranch

What a beautiful experience. We stayed for two nights and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The weather was perfectly crisp and fall-like, and Lynnellen made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. She shared fresh vegetables from her garden and repeatedly encouraged us to make ourselves comfortable, and we truly felt like we could. Each morning, she made us breakfast that left our bellies happy and full, and Sunday dinner was incredibly nourishing. The conversations we shared were filled with warmth and sincerity. You can tell Lynnellen is someone full of love and joy who genuinely wants to share it with others, and you can see that same spirit reflected in the people passing through her home. If you’re looking for a place that radiates community, love, and connection, this is it. Our hearts feel very full after just two days here. Highly recommended and if we’re ever in the area again, we’ll absolutely be back. Thank you, Lynnellen!

I loved this site!!! Everything was so well done and put together. There were signs right out front to indicate the campsite which was necessary since we arrived at night on both days. We were given a clear map and wifi info before we arrived to help us. It was a wonderful experience!

I was visiting In a 19’ Sprinter and my sidekick Olaf a morkie, and we had a great experience for 2 nights. Site had electric and water. Fire pit and picnic table. The bathrooms were clean and warm and included the shower. Nice community area with lots of games inside for kids. It was close to road so could hear in the day but quiet at night.
