We had a great time at the daisy! It is cozy, the surrounding nature is beautiful, and Barry is so welcoming. He set up our fire, and sang/played guitar at our camp spot while our three-year-old danced around. He is genuinely interested in getting to know people. I highly recommend! I know we will be back :) side note – it is not far from Waco and there’s a lot to do there if you’re looking for fun activities!

We loved camping at Barry’s property. He was so kind & welcoming. The spot was gorgeous & had just enough privacy backing up to the creek. We took a nice swim in the lake to cool off. The sunset view from the roof deck was incredible.

We would definitely be back. Berry was so attentive to us especially because there was a storm coming so he gave us options to move his truck so we can cook under the car port with a grill he has to provide for us as well as a fire pit shared. He also welcomed everyone else to do this as well. He checked in on us when we got there to make sure we were situated and was so attentive to all guest who were there. It is a beautiful peaceful place to camp and enjoy nature. Lake was walking distance from the camp site. Kayaks available as well if needed. Lush green and beautiful flowers and garden surrounding the place. Beautiful stars at night as well, no need to have a telescope it is dark enough to see with naked eyes. Thank you Berry for your hospitality we appreciate you.

This property is exquisite! It was like a postcard! The campsite was very private and quiet. We saw a fox, bobcat, bobcat cub and an armadillo. And those were just the wild animals! Interacting with the farm animals was a highlight! The caretakers of this property are very passionate about it and it is so evident. They were all genuinely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back to visit!

We had a great time camping at the Star Pad. We brought a telescope and had great views. It is on a huge property with lots of trails to explore during the day. The owners were very friendly and let us feed some of the animals. We also enjoyed being able to purchase a few items from the farm store to bring home with us. Would recommend.

This was our second time at Liberty Hill Hideaway. We’ve been trying to make it back since our first trip and will be going back again. Barry has whatever you’re looking for there. We did the primitive camping site and loved it! Grassy, wild flowers in bloom, and a good bit of privacy! We didn’t have a chance to hike a lot, but we will definitely take a longer trip next time to explore the ranch! The farm animals are a lot of fun to watch. The stargazer pad is too cool! Will definitely book that next time, especially if it’s more than just the two of us! The owners were very kind and responsive! Seriously, you can’t go wrong here!!

SAFTEY NOTES: The terrain is rocky and can be quite steep in places with some drop offs. Not recommended for small children or pets that are not well trained.
