I loved camping with my family and friends at Bosque River Camp. Beautiful property and Joe could not be any more accommodating or friendly. Thanks again Joe for letting us stay here. It was peaceful and relaxing. Awesome place to explore, so many things to see. The river is beautiful and the wildlife was plentiful. Got to see and hear some wild birds to include turkeys. I highly recommend camping here. Definitely would come back. Bathroom is clean, and it's nice to have the luxury of a flushing toilet. Bring water and enjoy.

We had the best time at McDonald’s Farm! From splashing in the river to hanging out fireside this is the spot! Our kids loved seeing the pigs, chickens, and horse, as well as exploring the property. The hosts were amazing! They had a great spot for making coffee set up for us and always were quick to answer questions and assist our group. Thanks for a great weekend!

I had such a great experience at this campsite! Wonderful secluded spot where you really feel connected with nature. Lots of land you can explore and my dog was able to roam around freely. Host was very nice and responsive and even helped fill up our air mattress when our air pump wasn’t working. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice camping spot near the water!

Tent camping made easy! Lovely spaces to choose from. Literally a farm! Horse, chickens, pigs!! Outdoor bathroom & shower available. Beautiful areas by the river, just a small hike. Definitely will come back to stay by the river! Extremely informative and friendly host. So worth the drive. Lovely drive to Georgetown if you forget anything. Thank you for the peaceful and serene experience, we loved it.

The views amazing, and I really enjoyed seeing the farm animals. The land is so green and beautiful, it reminded of me of back home in Tennessee. I appreciated that their land connected to the San Gabriel River, so that we could easily go back and forth! I absolutely adored that they had a coffee station with a charging area, a shower station, and a port-a-potty. They also sold their own farm fresh eggs, jam, and hot sauce which you can pick up from their curbside stand at any time. They also have campfires and provide you with fire starting wood. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend!

Weekend Trip to P² Farm | Scenic River Camping

Great weekend spent at P2! Got to work up a sweat on a trail ride, then go cool off in the river. The communal spot on the river is perfect for sitting a chair in and relaxing to the sounds of nature. The communal cooking/sitting area was really great too. Made meal prep so much easier - there are several grills, tables and plenty of chairs.

This was one of the most magical setting at which g3 Games has ever had a retreat! Our camp site felt very secluded and peaceful. The fikuage and San Gabriel river were absolutely stunning. Makayla was there to welcome us when we first arrived, showed us around some of the property, then retreated to their on-site home. They would have happily helped if there were any issues, but there were none! This organization has scheduled retreats like this at various venues for the past 2.5 years. I know that there is personal preference bleeding into this, but P2 Farm is one of the very best places we have ever camped 😁

We absolutely loved this place! Regena was extremely kind and accommodating. The place was very well kept and the entrance was easy to spot in the nighttime. If you don’t see it, you didn’t go far enough lol. Do expect some donkey noises from time to time but you are with nature!

My pups and I couldn’t have been happier with our stay! The experience exceeded my expectations. We loved how much thought and consideration the hosts put into everything. The description was accurate and informative and the host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the private river access. It was peaceful and rejuvenating; we will definitely stay here again! My dogs didn’t want to leave. We saw a few snakes, carp, raccoon and deer by the river but bugs were not an issue. Cell service (T-Mobile) was a little spotty at the river, not bad though. The outdoor shower was nice to be able to clean up after playing in the river with my dogs. Definitely check out the little farm stand while you’re there! There were fresh eggs and jellies for sale when we were there.

Access to our river site is included in your camping fee, or we offer day passes for non-campers! There is no overnight camping on the San Gabriel River. All camping is at the main farm area and campers are able to come and go from the river site as they please. McDonald Farm sits in the historic farming community of Jonah, TX between Georgetown and Taylor on scenic Highway 29. McDonald Farm is named after the patriarch of the family, J.H. Mcdonald, who first acquired the property in 1911. The farm sits on the bank of the San Gabriel River and features a lush canopy of huge pecan trees, sprawling corn fields, prairie, and forest. We are a working farm! We primarily grow corn, but we also have livestock on the property. During daytime hours, you will likely see a variety of farm chores being completed. We are only 7 miles from the Georgetown, TX historical district and square. Some say it’s the most beautiful town square in all of Texas. Enjoy shopping, dining, and festivals! We are 13 miles from Granger Lake, which offers boating and bass fishing opportunities. Highway 29 and the many quaint and scenic country roads that intersect it is popular with cyclists wanting to go for longer rides and enjoy the sights of central Texas and the many historical farms in the area. Designated smoking areas will be provided. Please do not smoke in non-smoking areas. 12. SWIMMING. The Will Property is in close proximity to two ponds that may be used to swim in. Swim at your own risk. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Any child 12 years of age or under must wear a coast guard approved life vest when entering the water. NO EXCEPTIONS. Swim Hours from dawn to dusk. 13. ALCOHOL. On this facility, The E-Lawn and Amphitheatre, The Vault, The Will House, & The Luxury Lounge is a private club that serves alcoholic beverages. Handcrafted Alcoholic Beverages may be purchaed inside this area, however, no alcohol may be taken into or out of this area. You MAY bring your own alcoholic beverages into the RV or camp sites, but those must remain in your RV or campsite areas. 14. Help maintain clean and tidy grounds by not littering. Please dispose of trash in one of our conveniently located trash bins. Do not put food outside for insects. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the supervision and conduct of their children at all times. 15. Additional Vehicles for Tent Camping Reservations: Your Tent Camping Reservation includes one space in the designated tent camping parking area. If you need to park an additional vehicle anytime during the dates of April 4, 2024, to April 9, 2024, you will need to purchase an additional parking space. The fee for an additional space is $25. The parking space will be in a designated overflow area inside The Will Properties grounds. This additional Parking Lot is within the grounds, but may be several hundred yards from your camp area, within walking distance. 16. Please respect guests’ privacy by not walking through occupied sites. Every space will be checked periodically by management, for compliance with these rules. 17. No person shall disturb the peace, make unreasonable noise, engage in violent behavior, or display/discharge a firearm or other weapon. 18. Any guest that willfully or negligently destroys The WILL property or equipment will be held liable for the value to repair or replace. 19.
