Weekend Trip to Cozy Cactus Airstream with Hot Tub

Very cute, updated, retro Airstream with all the creature comforts of home, and then some! Lovely hot tub and outdoor shower among a beautiful landscaped yard. Nice get away!

Vibrant Turk’s Cap flowers bloom just outside the space, loved by local hummingbirds, they add a peaceful, nature-filled touch to your stay.

1 night at Casita El Dorado

Leah’s place is such a peaceful and welcoming spot! The land is spacious and beautifully maintained, with lots of room to spread out and enjoy nature. I was greeted by her sweet and friendly dog, which was such a fun surprise. The pool is perfect for cooling off on a warm day, and there’s a cozy hammock tucked under the trees that’s great for relaxing with a book. I also loved the fire pit area—it’s a great setup for sitting under the stars. Overall, it’s a quiet, charming spot with everything you need for a relaxing outdoor getaway.

2 nights at River Forest Haven

We really enjoyed our last minute tent camping trip at River Forest! We came in after a big storm, so a few sites were a little muddy (expected), but we found a great spot that offered lots of shade but wasn’t too muddy. Took the dogs down to the river the next day and they had a blast. The owners are really nice and helpful. We will definitely be camping here more often!

1 night at Happy Hideaway - Near COTA

I loved staying here!, absolutely beautiful in the morning and a random rooster crowing a couple miles away from us every morning made it even better lol. Used the campfire to make s’mores, everything went smoothly. They have a cute shower, they also have toilets not far from camp at all. Super quiet I love that they have a no loud music rule, made the experience even more relaxing specially after a long week of work. Would and will come back again. :)

Weekend Trip to Terraqueous RV Resort

The “M section” is the perfect spot if you have a small travel trailer and are okay with water and 20 amp hookup only (I think there was a 50 amp as well). There are no sewer hookups at this particular site, however there is a really convenient dump station before you exit the park and not to mention a really nice bath room and shower with a/c within walking distance. This is our second trip out there and we absolutely love this place.

The place was an amazing stay when the lights came on during setup. It was an amazing, beautiful night, and I was able to take some amazing pictures. It was the perfect night.

Stayed the weekend in a small camper here. Site 9 has full hookups. It was a great location (very close to the state park, and not too far from Johnson City), and the grounds were very well kept. Ken was an accommodating and gracious host. Will stay again if back this way.

Our tent at GLAT was everything we hoped for and more! It was so cute, comfortable and had everything we needed. The only complaint is that the people next to us were playing music the entire time and set up their volleyball net right in front of our tent and view.

Loved camping on this property. Really liked the amenities like having the fire pit, chairs, shower and toilets. Just be wary that since the bathrooms are open air up top that there's bugs that make their way in there. We were there on the weekend of mother's Day and since it wasn't the busiest weekend, we asked if we could leave our camper there a bit past our checkout and they let us go play around in the park and collect it when we were ready. 10/10

Two tents have one queen bed and two have two queen beds. We provide two air mattresses to sleep total 16!! There are AC units in each of the tents to keep cool at night. There are 2 LONG RV spots up to 45 feet in length BUT, they are back in only and the turn around area is tight if you have a BIG RIG. The 2 camper van sites are (Site 1) 32' and (Site 2) 22'. The main difference is in the tents’ locations on our property and corresponding view. - The Grand Aztec: Provides the most open view of the lake and hill country. Located central on the property near the main fire pit and common areas. - The Grand Arrow: Also has a lake view, but with more trees, less open than the Grand Aztec. Located closer to the entrance of our property, farther from the common areas. Adirondack chairs and a hammock area is just out back (lakeside). - The Grand Tesoro: Private hill country view across the properties ravine. Located closest to the bathhouse, very central on our property. Also near the common areas. A private chiminea fire area under a grove of trees is nearby. The price for Grand tents is based on double or triple occupancy. A fourth guest is welcome for an additional fee ($50/nt), which you’ll see at booking. The Mini Aztec: Located between the Grand Aztec and Grand Arrow tents, with a private view of the lake and hills, and a private chiminea area. For younger children (age 8+) who want to sleep in the mini tent, we recommend the Grand Arrow for the parents because the mini is within view of the Grand Arrow porch. The Grand Tents have a maximum occupancy of 3 guests. We may allow for a fourth guest upon request for an additional fee ($50/nt). Guest access You'll have access to the entire 15 acres, including some walking/hiking trails. You cannot enter other guests' tents (without invitation, of course).
