Absolutely NO HUNTING ALLOWED. We feed the deer. And the Longhorns! If you'd like to feed them too we can leave a bag of deer corn or cow cubes and you can feed them as well. Hand feeding the Longhorns is a true experience.
The property is been completely fenced. Please close and secure gate after entering and exiting with the lock provided. Code provided before arrival. There is a manual gate and a automatic gate you will be given the code for both.

Kaz always had a DREAM to help kids with Life Skills & Mentor in God’s Principles because she had Christian Mentors growing up! They were always there for her through her life and kept her focused down the right path and stayed out of trouble and learned a tremendous amount from them! Bill her husband supports her and they raised 7 children together and have 10 grandkids. Kaz father was Asperger's Autistic and from 5 years old started showing Kaz hands on learning skills that are still instilled in her today! She found this to be a Valuable Lesson from her Dad. These methods and skills through the years working with her own children and other children through the years with different organizations confirm to be very beneficial and encouraging for the children growing up. Bill and Kaz have shared equally through all they’re projects during they’re 40 years of marriage. They’re Jack Of All Trades, Artists, Shown in Art Shows, Remodeled Homes, Churches, Work on the Ranch Together, and Etc. They are able to teach others how to do things that can benefit kids till they graduate and have a better understanding of what they want to do in their lives as an adult and PLUS have the mentoring to guide them through life.

There is road noise. Highway 29 can be busy at times, despite being a two-lane road. Quiet hours are after 10 pm Sunday - Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday.
Access to our river site is included in your camping fee. This secluded hike-to (~ 1-2 minute walk) site is peaceful with limestone cliff views and no visible homes or signs of civilization. The trail head is accessed by a dirt road that winds around our corn field and into the woods, and can be accessed by any vehicle in normal weather conditions. We will provide warning/refunds if the river road becomes 4x4 only. Fishing is allowed with a valid Texas fishing license. There is no overnight camping on the San Gabriel River. All camping is at the main farm area and campers are able to come and go from the river site as they please (day or night!).

This was a lovely spot to camp. The land was beautiful and very convenient to Enchanted Rock. Michelle was very hospitable and kind. The portable restroom was exceptionally clean and convenient. We only interacted with the cattle when Michelle invited us to feed them. Cell service was strong on the property. We unfortunately had severe weather in the middle of the night, and we appreciated that she reached out during the storm via text to check on us.
There were unfortunately ant hills throughout our campsite, but it is their home after all. They did bite, so I’d advise wearing closed-toed shoes. We would have appreciated clearer signage marking our campsite, as the map was only marginally helpful and we felt the need to confirm with Michelle that we were in the right spot before unloading.
Overall, Michelle was lovely to stay with.

We don't have hills like that in south Louisiana! Great experience and fun place to camp. Didn't see anyone else while we were there. My kids and dogs had a great time exploring. Chose this place because of its proximity to Hidden Falls and LCRA parks we wanted to visit, and I'm glad we did. Would definitely stay again when we're in the area again. I had to reschedule our trip at the last minute due to an emergency at work and it was seamless, no issues at all. I also had to work remotely one day we were there and the phone signal was great.

Awesome experience! The “tucked away” campsite is perfect if you’re looking for a bit of solitude. The views are beautiful, and the hosts were warm, welcoming, and easy to communicate with.
A special highlight was the four longhorns on the property—they were gentle, entertaining to watch, and added a really unique charm to the stay.

We camped at the Pasture Mingle spot and thoroughly enjoyed watching the horses, ponies, and Mr. Sheep. The Mother Tree is definitely the spot at Makayla's though and will try for that one when we return. Be aware that other than the Mother Tree site, the sites are wide open with no trees. The river was a very nice recpite from the hotter than usual weekend. It's deep enough for sitting in with some spots thigh or waist deep. We particularly enjoyed the swing hanging on a low limb over the water. A bonus here is having a sink to do dishes in and a flush potty. A light inside would be nice though. The property is a little disheveled and the club house in need of some TLC but absolutely worth the visit. Makayla is friendly and easy going, her animals are very nice and pleasant to interact with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will revisit.

P2 was the perfect location for us to stay. It was 25-30 minutes from Round Rock, TX where our niece was getting married. We were able to come and go as we needed to. The San Gabriel River was very close and some of the other campers walked down to swim. We did not, but we did visit nearby Hutto and Georgetown. There was a fundraiser happening two miles from P2 Farm where they had a crawfish boil and tamales! We had a wonderful time!

I had so much fun at the McDonalds property on the river. They were very friendly and accommodating. The river was so relaxing and I loved the grills and hammocks they had set up. I would definitely stay again and recommend this spot to others. 💕

Great remote Texas ranch camp, away from everything but also conveniently close to Llano for any necessities. The camp and restroom was clean and fun to explore. The four steers roaming the property were a lot of fun to see up close. We would stay here again for sure.

Great site! We were the only tent campers in the tent area and our host Wendy was so helpful. We had plenty of firewood, the campsite was really quiet and the nearby highway provides a “sound-machine” type of background noise.
The restrooms were really clean and the kitchen area was great for washing dishes.

Stayed at the Tucked Away site. Peaceful, quiet, lots of room, and I enjoyed the longhorn visitors I had each day. Easy drive to Llano, Enchanted Rock, and Fredericksburg. Absolutely would stay here again.

Owners answered my questions Mr.Chad took us to our spot and was friendly and helpful made my children feel safe because they were a little scared of the Longhorns but they never came near our camping spot. It was a campsite with a wonderful view. I was able to experience the magnificent nature of America. The host was kind and helpful. It was my first time camping in America since coming from Japan, and I enjoyed it very much. I woke up surrounded by cows in the morning, which was a great experience.

We enjoyed staying at Wendy's RV Campground because of the location! It was far enough out of town to avoid the noise, but close enough to go into town for supplies or to eat at one of the restaurants! We enjoyed being out in the country side and the solitude!

We love the place and how well Kaz communicated all the details of their Ranch! Our site is next to a lot of trees and a good 50A hook up that helped charging my car. The place is big and has a lake that our kids loved!
