Our charming Glampground comprises a single secluded Glamp site equipped with a large tent, an additional pop-up tent, Loo, camp shower, grill, picnic table, dry storage, access to well water, and solar lights. Additionally, we offer an RV for rent with available electricity and water, along with Ten dry tent sites featuring access to a community bathroom with a shower and some nearby electricity options. We happily welcome pets, provided they are kept on a leash. Each individual tent site location has a trashcan, Loo, portable camping toilet/tent, grill for campfires and cooking, picnic table.
Situated on-site are over 100 undeveloped acres boasting numerous hiking trails, ideal for mountain biking or a serene walk amidst abundant wildlife, including trophy Whitetail Deer, Turkey, Armadillos, Hawks, and other captivating wild birds. Revel in the breathtaking Hill Country sunsets and immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring star-filled nights. Welcome to our Ranch! We are a homesteading family with space to spare. We currently raise chickens and dairy goats on the farm. We also have neighboring sheep and cows that visit from time to time.
Our ranch is 18 acres and includes a few stock ponds depending on the amount of rain we have received one even has catfish for catch and release. We have tons of wildflowers in the spring and even a few bluebonnets!. At night the clear sky lend to AMAZING stargazing with very little light pollution.
My kids are homeschooled so they are always around to help out or play if you have kids camping with you!
We are an hour drive from Austin, close to Lake Travis and Lake Buchanan.

Yes we are on the DIRECT path for the Eclipse. Currently estimated to have 4.5 minutes of totality. At the time of this update (September 2023) We have 10 spots available with standard primitive camping as well as Tent camping without generators. We are discussing amenities at this time and will update the description as amenities are confirmed. The price may change as amenities are added however if you have already booked the price at time of booking will be honored for you.

Bring yourself, your family and your friends too experience what our family has been sharing together for the last four generations. Sit underneath our giant 600+ year old Live Oaks and imagine all the settlers and Native Americans who stopped in the shade here along the banks of The Colorado River.
We have 140 acres of land to explore. Old pecan orchards, cattle pens, open fields, giant trees and half a mile of the Colorado River to access. While visiting you can expect to see and experience native flora and wildlife. Don't forget your binoculars!
People enjoy flying kites, picnicking, camping, hiking, nature study, radio controlled devices, rock hounding (surface hunting only, no digging allowed), fishing, kayaking, swimming or wading in the water( depth of water varies and may drop off without warning, rocks are also underwater and not visible at all times), observing ranch work, riding bicycles or hoverboards, feeding our cattle and goats (only our special "cookies" or approved foods please), walking their leashed pets, collecting firewood to burn, sitting around our communal fire pit and stargazing while checking out the visible Milky Way.
Escanaba Bend is a fully operating and working cattle ranch. We raise our livestock kindly from birth thru end of life, with the goal of producing happy, healthy and natural beef cattle.

*clean up all waste/droppings from your pets
*pack in- pack out (what you bring in you must take out with you when you leave
*NO personal/ composting toilets. use only the porta potties provided by us.
*all river, tank, water use is at your own risk including but not limited to, swimming, kayaking, wading, floating, fishing...
* surface hunting for rocks only ( NO DIGGING ALLOWED EVER )
*by TX state law you should obtain a fishing license for any public or private waterways to fish, except where legal to fish without one in TX State Parks.
*there are venomous snakes, bees, ants and poisonous plants as well as other critters that are native to the area

Outdoor venue located on the north edge of the City of Lampasas. This charming spot boasts a picturesque outdoor picnic and music area, adorned with majestic oaks and abundant seating, complete with fire rings. We offer over 20 RV spaces, each with a minimum size of 30’x60’, as well as 40+ camp sites with a minimum size of 30’x30’, and ample parking with over 100 spots available for cars. Pricing is as follows: $400 for RVs, $250 for campsites, and $100 for cars. These rates include accommodation from Saturday, the 6th, through Tuesday, the 9th, for the Eclipse event. Guests can choose to stay for the entire duration or opt for a shorter stay at the same prices. To book, simply reserve for one night, and we'll handle the rest. Portable toilets are readily available on-site for convenience.
In addition to accommodations, we'll be offering food and beverages for lunch and dinner from Saturday to Monday.

There are alot of wildlife as well as ranch animals throughout the area. Our property is fairly secluded and private due to the trees all around. We also offer an easy pull through driveway loop for RVs. The town of Lampasas is a 10 minute drive that offer all the amenities that you would need. The town also has art murals, an art sculpture walking trail, boutique shopping, and the historic Hancock Springs.

One last thing, the only "chore" that we ask of our guests is to take the trash out of the tent and deposit it in the bin on your way out and that's only to help prevent critters from trying to get in! There's none of that long chore list stuff - you're here to relax, not work. :-)
