Michaela's campsite was very well equipped and maintained. The yurts were clean, had amenities such as space heaters and ACs, and extra blankets. We loved using the jacuzzi! She let us feed the baby goats, which was a wonderful perk. We'd definitely come back.

This was a real treehouse with just enough upgrades to make it comfortable. We had a wonderful break away from the city here. It was so nice to just relax with the kids and have a break from TV and phones. Highly recommend!!!

This treehouse is a wondrous place to take a retreat from your day-to-day. Me and my partner came for a little one on one time. The cowboy bathtub was the highlight for me (a person who chooses vacation destinations based on tub quality). Each “porch” of the tree house was cozy and whimsical. The inside is full of games, art supplies, and plenty of natural light. Waking up and opening the doors to let the fresh air and sunshine in was rejuvenating and peaceful. The energy of this entire property was absolutely inviting, refreshing, and very special. The only gripe I have is that we couldn’t stay long enough to get to our list of desired activities during our stay. (pond swimming, hammock chilling, yoga, swinging daybed reading, etc). Shellie let us know about a spectacular brunch spot near by. She was communicative and helpful our entire stay. We will absolutely be visiting again!

Beautiful treehouse! The AC was cool during the day, and the electric heater was fantastic in the evenings when it got cool outside. Everything was very cozy, and I definitely second what other Hipcampers have said about the shower being AMAZING! I used it twice in one day! 🤣 The entire site is very private, and we saw a few critters roaming around. I will say that the stairs are definitely steep, more in between a ladder and stairs, so only our shiba inu came up to the treehouse. Our other 2 larger dogs stayed on their leads on the ground. The queen day bed was so comfy, and the weather was so nice that we ended up spending most of our evenings out there, until after midnight. It was so calm and I definitely recommend it. Very unique, and quiet, stay.

We loved staying at the treehouse on Shellie’s property! It was thoughtfully set up with much of the necessities to make packing easy. We couldn’t believe how clean the outdoor swinging bed was given the elements, but it was immaculate. We slept and read books there and it was a dream. The campsite provided the perfect amount of firewood and it was a very private spot. Shellie was amazing with communication and went above and beyond. We will definitely be staying again next time we need a quick escape from ATX.

(Well, just you and the wild critters) Digital Detox in the comfort and complete privacy of the whole Holler ! Robin's Nest is a real treehouse sitting atop 7 oaks in the Circle R holler. Our place is usually quiet, shaded and very very private. With wooded walking trails, three ponds in the holler, a canoe, 2 kayaks, firepit, hammocks and so much more. Only a quick jump from Hwy 183, you'll be close to all the amenities of Lockhart, the best BBQ in Texas. You'll have everything you need to enjoy your mini adventure. If you want to really know what the Robin's Nest experience is like, read the reviews. We Hope to see you soon at your escape in the woods of our Holler. One day won't be enough! Here's what a recent guest said: "A beautiful and magical escape" Wow! There is not one negative mention I can type out about our adventures at the beautiful and magical Robin’s Nest. Myself and my two young daughters were warmly welcomed by Shellie’s most thoughtful design of her secret hideout amongst the oaks. It was a quick drive from a busy day in Austin where the nature and quiet we’re so needed. Shellie has thought of everything for this amazing getaway. We could have gotten away with not bringing a thing. A quaint treehouse, overlooking a pond, nature all around, two more ponds a short stroll away. Our favorite part, the seclusion. An escape from the busyness and chaos of the world. Being able to cook dinner by the fire, hear the bullfrogs croaking and take a soak in the outdoor tub overlooking the evening. Do yourself a favor and invite the day with a grateful heart while showering in the open air shower. Sun rising, view of robins and chickadees while appreciating the whisper of the oaks all around. At Robins Nest we were explorers. We were artist, we were fisherman. We were silly, we were fun. We lived out every child’s dream, including my own inner child. We were storytellers. We were one with nature. We were dreamers. We disconnected and reconnected to ourselves and each other. I highly recommend this getaway and look forward to a visit once again. Our 16' Bell Tents sleep 2-4ppl unless you book all 4 sites and you can sleep up to 16ppl~ Our private backyard glampsite is located on one acre of beautiful oaks in a dark sky community. Sit by the fire as you gaze up at the Milky Way. We have 2 goats, 13 chickens and a pig! They stay in their pens and we provide food so you can feed them - please do not give them any other food except what is provided. Bonus! Guests can enjoy fresh eggs daily, when available. Located-10 minutes from Canyon Lake -20 minutes from Wimberley, San Marcos and Blanco. Wynona’s is perfectly situated to some of the sweetest towns in Texas! The space We love camping so much we decided to make our own Glamping experience in our backyard! The rental includes your yurt, but you get to use the common space!! In total we have 4 bell tents. Two tents have one queen bed and two have two queen beds. We provide two air mattresses to sleep total 16!! There are AC units in each of the tents to keep cool at night. Please note that the hot tub is only included if all 4 tents are booked. Our common areas include 2 showers, 2 toilets, 1 extra large sink area connected to the bathrooms, 2 grills and 4 large picnic tables, a bar and coffee station, a fire pit, hammocks and a rope swing. This space is perfect for any family celebration, reunion, birthday party, ect! It is tucked away at the bottom of the property so you get the space to yourself. IMPORTANT! There is an additional $25/yurt if you want to use the hot tub during your stay. Guest access When you arrive at our house you will park in our circle driveway and walk through the double green gates down the hill to the glampsite. (To the left past the house) The road is slippery/steep so please use the steps. Backpack recommended for easier up and down! You can roll a cooler down the (steep) road! Other things to note Each of the four bell tents are equipped with an AC unit, beds, heater, pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, electrical outlets, twinkle lights, and a lantern. Light switch to main Edison lights are located on the side table near hot tub outlets.
