My husband and I fell in love with this property the moment that we turned "Right" after entering the access gate. There were cows and a very protective Bull. The owner took them away after the sale, but he left us with beautiful Mesquite and Spanish Oak and endless possibilities! We built decks for some of our Glamping Tents and there is plenty of room for Ground Camping. You have a choice of bringing your own gear and setting up on the ground or renting one of our Fully Dressed Glamping Tents that are situated on Decks. We also re-purposed our little rustic cabin and turned it into two luxury bathrooms and a fully functioning kitchen. The beauty of our space, is you can bring a group of your Family and Friends and enjoy Secluded Private Camping! Private Camping on over 12.995 Acres. We can provide Tents for either Semi-Primitive camping or Tent Glamping. Book a a group Retreat for at least ten guests for a minimum two night stay and the Host can either Stay for FREE in either a Glamping Tent on a deck or Our 16ft. Imagine Guest RV. We provide a Comfort Cabin, with City Water/Electricity and access to two Bathrooms w/Shower, Sink, Toilet and Hot Water, Kitchen with Microwave Oven, Fridge and Hot/Cold water/Ice Dispenser. For your Group’s convenience and enjoyment, there are Griddles, Firepits, BBQ Pits, Some Utensils and More. 20 miles away you have Choke Canyon State Park. You might think fishing and boating rule at this Texas state park. You'd be right. Cast your line from the shore or a boat to catch largemouth bass and catfish. Pick from hundreds of secluded inlets or coves to find your perfect fishing spot. Return to your campsite at sunset to prepare a meal from your "Catch of the Day". Pack your binoculars, because birding is popular here as well. Head to the South Shore unit for special birdwatching trails that wind around the park. Listen for bird calls as they talk to each other or to you. Songbirds and migratory birds make homes near the reservoir. Site # 2 is a 12x12 deck, where you can pitch your tent step out onto a beautiful wood deck. You can book this site with just the deck or fully dressed, with a tent ready for you to put your gear into and enjoy the night. Fully dressed comes with the tent, a full sized air mattress and optional sheets, pillows and comforter (Addl. Fees for Fully Dressed).

Fully Dressed Deck Glamping Tent

Two Room Cabin Tent nestled on a 16x16 Wood Deck with Twin Solar Light Posts. This Tent is dressed to accommodate Three Guests. There is a Raised Queen Air Mattress on one side and a Twin Cot on the other side. You have the option of an open sleeping area or separate the space with a divider. There is still enough space for a Night Stand. There is a Bistro Table and two chairs on the Deck and room for a small BBQ Pit on the other side. Bring your Sleeping Bag and favorite Pillow. There are currently two additional Decks (One 16x16 that can accommodate a large 8 person Tent and a 12x12 Deck with Tent that sleep 2-4 people with a Full Sized Air Mattress and Solar Lanterns. The area around these Decks can accommodate at least 10 Ground Tents. Guests will have access to two 7ft. bathroom with flush toilets, two seat wide showers, vanities, bath benches and lots of hot water. There is also a communal kitchen with microwave oven, smoothtop stove, large refrigerator, water dispenser, stainless steel sink for dishwashing and counter for food prep.

RV - Grand Design AIM 16ML

We recently stayed at the Ellis and Savannah camp site and it didn’t disappoint. First of all Ellis and Savannah are excellent hosts and extremely nice people, we got a tour to their property so we were aware of all the amenities and nature around us, as well, they shared all the plans they have for their place which we will be looking forward to! We stayed in an RV, it was our first time and it couldn’t be better! It has everything to make your stay very comfortable. We recommend to wear sneakers or boots to walk around the property and really do the walk, If you’re lucky you might encounter a roadrunner, deers, bunnies or a bunch of quails walking around just like we did! There is an HEB close by if you need to buy groceries to make a meal and also restaurants around if you don’t feel like cooking. If you don’t feel like staying in the RV they have cabins you can book and if you want a more natural experience they mentioned you can bring your tent as well. There are really nice showers , a well equipped kitchen, grills, and a huge garage with board games, music and a tv available for you anytime. Ellis and Savannah also mentioned the big camp reunions they hold, one of them being on New Year’s Eve which sounds pretty awesome! We really recommend the experience and wish for them that all their plans they have for the property come to fruition. Looking forward to book again!
