Cathy's Dream Glamping is set on 24 acres of rolling pastures dotted with trees, ponds and abundant wildlife. The property is located halfway between Brenham and Round Top Texas - midway between Houston and Austin. Glampers have a choice of the bigger yellow cabin with full bath and kitchen (sleeps 5 to 6), the Tiny Green Grasshopper cabin with private outdoor bathroom and queen bed (sleeps 2), our yurt (sleeps 4) with access to the Cabana House, airstream (sleeps 3) with full amenities, or primitive tent sites. We do not have hook ups for trailers. The Blue Cabana House is open to all glampers and has 2 full bathrooms with showers, full kitchen and lounging area with TV, video movies and board games. The wood fire pit is just steps from the Cabana House. The large pavilion has multiple seating areas, gas firepit and outdoor kitchen area for grilling and meal prep. All bathrooms and kitchens are supplied with filtered rain water from our state of the art rain collection systems. We have a labyrinth mowed into one of our pastures, a small pond with sitting area under the trees and a larger pond a short walk from the cabin area for fishing or wildlife viewing.Come relax and hang out on the property or venture into Brenham or Round Top for antique shopping, restaurants and more.

Bring your own tubes, kayaks and canoes, we are currently replenishing our inventory. Or perhaps you prefer to fish the shady tree-lined banks. Either way, you'll see a variety of birds while you relax on or beside the cool waters of the Colorado River. We're kid and dog friendly (leashes mandatory) and we love musicians. Bring an instrument and join us for an impromptu jam session in our special events room or around the campfire. Cook dinner on our BBQ pit. Firewood is available onsite A few rules... 1. Check in is before sunset. We ask that all Hipcampers wait at gate for staff to guide you to your location for safety reasons. Contact us if you arrive ahead of schedule. 2. There are plenty of nooks and crannies to explore and gorgeous views of the Texas horizons....time your stay just right and you can stand directly between the sunset and the moonrise! We also have a hike-and-bike, nature trail that offers a 360 loop around the property. We have a new construction Bath House on site for restroom needs w/ hot showers and composting potties plus a cold-water sink w/ non-potable water suited for washing produce, hands, dishes or camping gear.

Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. I hope that you too can understand why we always walk alway feeling like this is a very special spot! The property borders a small creek and has abundant trees, and wildlife. Beautiful views from every vantage with a high field on one half of the property and a low bottom land near the creek where there are many options for a relaxing, private stay. Chose big sky or a more secluded spot. Incredible wildflowers on display in the spring. The property is not bordered by close neighbors or dense housing, just more land so sunsets and rises are wonderful and open. Low ambient light pollution at night means the stars are very bright (and so are the fireflies)! Guests are required to communicate estimated time of arrival well in advance. When arriving, make sure to meet Aaron or a designate at the red gate before entering further into the property. If tent camping, please do not bring glass containers, also you must pack out all garbage and waste. Inquire ahead of time to see if firewood is available to be gathered on site, or if you will need to bring your own. No uninvited guests without 24 hour prior approval, and additional guest fees paid. Also please no more than one dog per site.

Deer Life

A lot of trees, with some open areas. There are a lot of deer if you are up early in the morning. Also, sandy trails for walking around to see the wildlife. There is a small tank that sometimes in fall and spring have migrating ducks. A larger pond for fishing has catfish. We have horses that you are allowed to pet and brush if you make arrangements with the owners of the ranch first. We sell farm fresh eggs. Campfires allowed if we're not in a burn ban. Plenty of wood around, but may have to bring something to chop up the larger pieces. You will need to provide your own toilet facilities. There is no water, no electric, no internet, poor phone service. If you don't have a 4WD, we can still get you to your camping spot.
