Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. Weekend Trip to The Reserve at GreenLeaf
We had such a wonderful time. Our hosts greeted us for a short intro to the place which was nice. I got some pointers on how to use a French Coffee press (you'll see) and we got the lay of the land. There are walking trails, a community fire pit (there are only 4 yurts), a pavilion with Corn Hole type games and a hot tub (didn't try it out). It was extremely peaceful and calm. A great place to forget about things for a couple of days. Also, Bastrop has a nice downtown area. We ate at Neighbors (?) downtown and enjoyed sitting on the patio by the river.

This is the perfect country retreat along the Colorado River! We stayed in the fancy river shack and the accommodations were absolutely amazing. The 1st night I used the outdoor grill which was perfect along with a fire pit evening. The host delivered two bundles of firewood immediately upon request at $10 a bundle. The second night was too windy for a fire but it was still great. The River Shack is just a short walk down to the river bank and there are two tent and camping sites close to the shore with their own amenities. All sites are peacefully and perfectly placed to provide a woodsy country private and tranquil get away feel. The River Shack itself is so attractive and the kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom are perfect and modern, and can be compartmentalized with sliding doors. Three flat-screen TVs across the jacuzzi room, living room, and bedroom were great, along with a desk area for your laptop with wifi. Last and of course, the jacuzzi room lets you know you are "Glamping" in ultimate style and country grace! I literally watched the morning news with coffee in the jacuzzi! Why not! Weekend Trip to Country Glamping By The Pool
Everything was great. It was quiet and we had privacy. Bathroom and shower were amazing, we loved how it was set up. Huge plus that the yurt has heating and cooling. Our dogs had a blast roaming the land. Plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Some amenities could use some upgrading, but still a great stay. Would go again.

4 nights at Cozy Cactus Airstream with Hot Tub
We had the best time. Two adults (one over six feet tall) fit in here just fine. The bed was very comfortable, with lots of pillow preference options. The outdoor shower was stellar, with really nice shampoo and body wash products. The hot tub was awesome. Snacks and caffeinated beverages and water provided. All in all, a top stay.

Weekend Trip to Cozy Cactus Airstream with Hot Tub
Despite this fantastic little camper being in a backyard, I got all the peace and solitude I wanted. It's ridiculously close to some amazing restaurants, bars and a cute little park.
I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. The outdoor shower was HEAVEN. I absolutely enjoyed my time here.
*I'd like to note that the bed is not a twin. It looked like it in the pics but it's large and fantastic

We loved staying in the cozy cactus airstream! Adrienne has gone out of their way to update the airstream to fit modern comfort. The outdoor shower was our favorite amenity, nothing beats showing with the sun shining on you! The hot tub was an added bonus :)

Weekend Trip to Be the Bee @ Emerald Acres
We enjoyed the afternoon on the property cruising around in the paddle boat and our evening was fantastic with the sunset views, bonfire, hot tub and a restful night of sleep in the yurt. Rachel and family could not have been nicer - I hope you enjoy their little piece of paradise as much as we did.

sarah was extremely accommodating n her hospitality was out of this world. me n my best friend had an *amazing* time on the property n we even were given the option to stay in the dome rather than the tent since it was going to be a cold night. will def be coming back!

Group trip
I loved my experience at Rachel’s place! There is a queen size bed in the yurt that 2 of my friends stayed in & then my husband & I set up a tent right next to it. Super short walk from the yurt to parking which was great because we brought stuff to fry a whole turkey. We all brought our dogs and it was a super chill time. Enjoyed grilling, sitting by the bonfire, & hanging in the hot tub for the night!
