Weekend Trip to Cactus Camper and Bamboo Bunk

Wow. What a great place. Exceeding expectations for sure. So many nice touches that didn’t have to be there. Everything was clean and tidy. Love the fire pit and the hot tub and the outdoor bathroom. The camper itself was perfect. Very warm and cozy. A lot of effort was put into making this a great experience. I highly recommend the Laa Lodge!

Weekend Trip to 4 Oaks RV Camp

Wow... just wow!! David is such an extraordinary host. We were tent camping at his camp grounds the weekend of 4th of July 2025, excited about kayaking the guadalupe the next day at the state park. But For many this weekend was filled with sadness and loss and my heart and prayers go out to the families who had to endure the wrath of the floods at the guadalupe. We were greeted with warmth and kindness from David as he was still on site. He insisted that we stay inside his airbnb home on the premises, away from the torrential rainfall. I am so grateful. Luckily his grounds are far enough from the river where we were safe, but mother nature would have still had her way with us if we would've camped in our tents. Thank you from the bottom of my heart David, for allowing us the privilege of staying inside where we were safe and sound! My family sure does appreciate you!
