A network of trails criss-cross the creek and wind throughout the property under a peaceful canopy of large beautiful trees. Don't be surprised if you run into deer, squirrels, or roadrunners! Our property is home to a wide variety of hill-country wildlife. - Each of our campsites are private and surrounded by forest. - Each site has a fire ring for campfires - Our trees are our most precious natural resource and set this campground apart! Please don't do anything to harm them. - Port-o-john is available on site. - All of our campsites are primitive. No electric or water here. - When you camp with us you are welcome to explore and play on the entire property! We have 55 acres of trails and woods to explore! Please bring your bikes, trail shoes, or whatever helps you have fun in the wild! - Hammocks welcome! We have so many trees! All of our sites are hammock-friendly. - When you check-in, just text us, your host will help you find your campsite. - Some sites are drive-in where your vehicle can park right next to the fire. Others are walk-in and require a short hike of 100' or less from your parking space. You can indicate your preference during booking or at check-in. If you want to drive right into your site, Campsites 2, 3, 6, and 12 are the sites you want. Some of our campsites are more secluded than others and offer extreme privacy in the most beautiful settings we have to offer. If you're looking for a wilder campsite surrounded by huge old trees and all the peace the woods have to offer, just request Campsites 4, 5, 7, or 8. Each of these sites requires a walk of at least 50' from your vehicle to the fire ring. Site 13 is only for backpackers or people willing to hike about 500 yards to the campsite over rough terrain. There is no way to drive to it or even get close except on foot. But it is spectacular and beautiful! Only three sites can accommodate a smaller trailer or camper. Site 1, Site 2, and site 6. Please notify me in your booking if you intend to bring a camper and I can accommodate you. We practice leave-no-trace as much as possible. So please pack out anything you pack in. You are responsible for removing all trash. If any garbage is left behind in your site you will be billed for the cleanup. We have a dumpster located near the front gate. Please use it and put all your trash in there. Heads-up! We have a small farm on the property. Dogs are always welcome and we LOVE our furry friends! For their safety and the safety of our livestock please keep them leashed while on property.

The patio is lighted with cafe lights. One of the RV slips is covered, while the other is nestled under a charming burr oak tree. On-site, we also offer a rental cabin. The covered RV slip is equipped with 30 and 50 amps, the other hookup is 50 amp, both have their own water and clean out connections. Both RV slips are on grass/dirt, and the entrance/exit is grass and dirt. *****IF IT RAINS heavily while you are here, please use the paved driveway to exit the property as you may get stuck in the grass at the big double gate.***** Our property uses rain water recapture. Please conserve water when you can when cooking, washing up and cleaning. No washing of cars or RVs is allowed. Please note that there might be other guests staying on the property during your visit. Kindly be considerate of noise levels and how it may impact the experience of fellow guests. You may also be sharing amenities such as the grill, deck, outdoor kitchen, and games court. Incredible piece of property just outside downtown Blanco, but far enough away to feel like you’re truly alone. William was an awesome host and very responsive to all our questions. The property, camp site and restroom were clean and easy to find. Easy hikes and we didn’t even get to see all the property! We will absolutely Be back to enjoy all that Williams property has to offer. The only thing I could ask for would be a proper picnic table in the oak grove instead of the small metal table, but we made it work. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this site, or any of the others in the future! We will be back!

This Hipcamp spot is hands down one of the best we’ve stayed at. The property is massive (around 1100 acres), which makes it perfect for overlanders who want space, privacy, and the freedom to truly choose their own camp spot. There are plenty of trails to explore, and the terrain keeps things interesting without feeling crowded or restricted. Warren, the host, was outstanding. He checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He was also incredibly kind with our kids and even let them play together, which made the experience feel more like visiting friends than just camping. If you’re into overlanding, off-grid camping, or just want a wide-open Texas camping experience, this place is hard to beat. Easily one of the best spots in Texas and we’ll definitely be back.

This campsite was absolutely beautiful. The night sky was full of stars, and the site itself felt very private and spacious. Everything was ready for us when we arrived; the compost toilet was clean and freshly prepared, and the land looked recently maintained. You can tell the host really cares about the space. I would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay at Dots! Dot was very friendly and accommodating. The RV spots were in the shade of some oak trees. The full utilities worked great and the spot was peaceful, pastoral and quiet. I’ll plan to stay there again if I’m in the area.

Weekend Trip to Wimberley Valley Camping

Stayed at site 2 (Stargazer) -- plenty of room for my 4Runner, easy in and out. I was by myself, but there's ample room for several tents, easily, if you're in a group. As the name suggests, the view of the stars in this spot is awesome. Wimberley is a verified Dark Sky Community, meaning there is little light pollution, so you'll notice a mammoth difference in what you can see compared to a city environment. Directions were easy to follow (just make sure you go in the correct gate; there are two at the spot where GPS leads you. It's the one on your left). The site was completely free of any trash or other debris; if it wasn't for the fire ring you wouldn't necessarily think it was a campsite that a lot of people use day in and day out (which is a good thing). Kudos to the owners for designing it and maintaining it so well. Speaking of which, I got the chance to meet Bud when he happened to drive by on the way to his house elsewhere on the property. Great guy, talked at length with me about the land and gave some advice and ideas for exploring. Very nice of him. Site 1 is fairly close by, but not so close that you can see it from where you are. You would definitely hear your neighbors if they're noisy/rowdy but the guys that pulled into Site 1 on my second night were not like that at all. I can't recommend this place enough, and I'll definitely be back. P.S. Look for the bear -- he's pretty tame and will even let you take a selfie with him. ;)

Great peaceful area. Gorgeous spot on the Medina River. The water is a little cold this time of year (Jan) so we didn't swim but, our pup did, & loved it. We saw deer, turkey, & an Axis deer. Lovely area to relax for sure.

I loved that this was a very private spot. There was no one around. A great amount of shade. There was plenty of room for other tent if you were in a group. Easily fit 4 tents and still have room. Overall really great spot and is now on my favorites list for sure.
