PECAN GROVE is a huge campsite in the shade of the pecan trees, beside the pond. There is a 10x10 deck and table to use. There is also a native sweat lodge built that only requires blankets to cover it. This site is closest to the outhouse.
If you like to be further away from the hustle and bustle and appreciate more primitive camping, try the CEDAR CREEK Site at the back of the property. This site is near the (seasonal) bubbling creek, under the shade of the Juniper trees. There is a 10x 6ft shade tent with table and optional extension cord for use. (Request power upon booking)
If you like a little more action in your campouts we do occasional music events on site. Ask about those dates when booking. We have a water hose for potable water on property and an open air private outhouse in the trees. We have a strict trash Pack in/pack out all trash and pet waste policy. Leave sites better then you found them and don't cut down anything that is growing. No burn bans if you use the rocked pits and put the fire out before you leave/sleep. Leave your mark by adding something useful or decorative to your campsite. Whatever your camping desires, we can accommodate!

The setup was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a camping trip without the hassle of packing heavy gear. We had a wonderful time staying at Lost Horizon with our two pups! We enjoyed the quiet and serene surroundings, saw mule deer and antelopes, and felt 100% rejuvenated and recharged. Every store or restaurant you could imagine was 5 minutes away. The sewer dump station was kinda hard to find until I finally read the directions and it was easy then. Price was very reasonable and site 1 was excellent. Stayed Friday until Sunday for great grandkids birthday party. The rv area was very well lit and clean.

Camping with Buena Vista was truly a unique experience. My kids loved waking up and seeing the ostrich behind our camper and being able to visit the goats at the petting zoo whenever we wanted! The drive through safari was so fun and the perfect activity for a windy morning!!

The RV Park was nice! While there wasn't much shade at any of the RV sites, there are many young trees that will provide plenty of shade in the future. My kiddos really enjoyed the clubhouse, pool, and park! We loved the location, cleanliness, and amenities. We were going to go to the pool and found a dead baby bird in there, but we called the office and they took care of it and cleaned it right away. They have a small petting zoo we enjoyed as well, and a few outdoor games to use as well.

It was exactly as advertised. The river was low. Rainfall is needed. But….we will stay there again. If you want a camping experience off the beaten path, this is it. This is a very cool glamping destination! My family of 5 + 2 dogs loved staying out at Stacie & Jeremy’s location. The river access is within the gated neighborhood and we went there 4 times to play. Took advantage of the proximity to Colorado Bend St Park too. Very responsive owner though we didn’t have any issues. We’ve done a lot of camping and glamping over the years, this one ranks near the top.
