We were lucky to have the entire place to ourselves for this trip. We were seeking a place that would entertain the entire family. Cushing, fires, kayaking, rock hunting, and appreciating sunsets. This place had it all. Unique location. Loved it. Will return! The host was chill and already had firewood ready. The place is clean and well maintained. Host is easy to communicate with.

It was a nice quiet campground right next to the suspension bridge. You can easily access the bridge for pictures. Camp also had river access, but it was muddy the day we stayed.

I loved camping with my family and friends at Bosque River Camp. Beautiful property and Joe could not be any more accommodating or friendly. Thanks again Joe for letting us stay here. It was peaceful and relaxing. Awesome place to explore, so many things to see. The river is beautiful and the wildlife was plentiful. Got to see and hear some wild birds to include turkeys. I highly recommend camping here. Definitely would come back. Bathroom is clean, and it's nice to have the luxury of a flushing toilet. Bring water and enjoy.

Gorgeous place! We got to see some beautiful wildlife and heard coyotes aplenty. Every evening we watched the sunset from the deck. It was very peaceful.

Two other campers in the park while I was there. One was most kind, helping to back in my trailer. Although there is lots of road noise from the traffic, it was quiet overnight. A huge rooster stopped by in the morning to make sure I was awake.

My Son and I enjoyed our camping trip to Joe's land. It was private, quiet and full of wildlife like gobbling turkey's, deer, and fish in the creek. Having a bathroom with running water was a bonus, as was the stockpile of wood for the bonfire. The creek was the highlight with crystal clear water and complete privacy. Grippy shoes are a must due to the slippery rocks.

3 nights at Historic Texas Ranch 1000 acres

Everything was excellent. Really beautiful old home with comfortable beds on a large piece of land that’s easy to lose yourself on (in all the good ways). Owners stopped by to check on us a few times and were super kind. Highly recommend.

This is a very cool glamping destination! My family of 5 + 2 dogs loved staying out at Stacie & Jeremy’s location. The river access is within the gated neighborhood and we went there 4 times to play. Took advantage of the proximity to Colorado Bend St Park too. Very responsive owner though we didn’t have any issues. We’ve done a lot of camping and glamping over the years, this one ranks near the top.

Where do I start! The views of the stars at night are amazing the riverbed had lots of cool treasures to find an the water was ice cold! There were many fun things to do on the property a Joe was an amazingly kind and responsive host! Will definitely stay here again!

PECAN GROVE is a huge campsite in the shade of the pecan trees, beside the pond. There is a 10x10 deck and table to use. There is also a native sweat lodge built that only requires blankets to cover it. This site is closest to the outhouse. If you like to be further away from the hustle and bustle and appreciate more primitive camping, try the CEDAR CREEK Site at the back of the property. This site is near the (seasonal) bubbling creek, under the shade of the Juniper trees. There is a 10x 6ft shade tent with table and optional extension cord for use. (Request power upon booking) If you like a little more action in your campouts we do occasional music events on site. Ask about those dates when booking. We have a water hose for potable water on property and an open air private outhouse in the trees. We have a strict trash Pack in/pack out all trash and pet waste policy. Leave sites better then you found them and don't cut down anything that is growing. No burn bans if you use the rocked pits and put the fire out before you leave/sleep. Leave your mark by adding something useful or decorative to your campsite. Whatever your camping desires, we can accommodate! **Booking these appts at site booking give us ample time to schedule **
