This is our family farm, though you probably will not see us much it is a place of great enjoyment by our family.  I grew up here swimming in this creek...that creek has taught me more about life than anyone ever could.

The boats are meant for one but there's just enough room for a friend (provided it's a dog).

Bring a fishing rod or two to enjoy the creek – while we didn't have any luck, we definitely saw fish rising.

The river goes for miles in either direction but water levels are greatly dependent on rainfall. Dry weather may mean less kayak-able water. 

The treehouse bed snuggly fits two people. BYOSB (bring your own sleeping bag!).

Enjoy the peace a quite in nature on a working ranch and bed and breakfast approximately one hour west of Houston.  Open pastures and forested areas with giant live oak trees.  Offering activities such as horseback riding, archery, trapshooting, bass fishing and other packages.Learn more about this land:No need to pitch a tent!  We have a secluded Grand Safari Tent located up close and personal to our exotic wildlife pasture or choose our Conestoga Covered Wagon tucked in next to the lake.  Or if you prefer, relax in one of our secluded cabins or antique houses spread about the ranch.  We offer horseback riding, archery, bass fishing, trapshooting, massages.  Walk/hike on our hundreds of acres with lakes, pastures and forested areas, open skies great for stargazing, fabulous birding!  View exotic wildlife such as bison, blackbuck antelope, fallow deer, axis deer, oryx, red deer; or interact with our more domesticated animals:  horses, mini donkeys, goats, sheep and even our family of Lemurs!  All accommodations have gas grills for your cooking pleasure or let us do the cooking at Carol's at Cat Spring for your dining pleasure.  Some accommodations have private firepits, outdoor private hot tubs, indoor Jacuzzis.  Accommodations all fully furnished -- kitchens, bathrooms, bedroom linens, etc.

We have 10 spacious full hookup RV sites on the front of the property and and several more dedicated tent sites toward the back.  We are located on almost 10 wooded acres, and most of our RV spots are shady for the majority of the day.

Schulenburg is centrally located among a whole host of places - we like to think of it as both halfway to everywhere and in the middle of everywhere.  We are an easy 1.5 hour drive to San Antonio, Houston, Austin, and New Braunfels, and even closer to Bastrop, Victoria, La Grange, and others.  In addition, in our local area, we have a great variety of coffee shops, antique stores, and shopping.
