Weekend Trip to Turquoise Acres Ranch

We had a great stay! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The kids loved meeting all of the cute farm critters. We set up our tent facing one of the ponds and watched the sun rise from our tent. We loved that there was an air-conditioned bathroom with running water not far from the campground and a playground for the kids. The donkey family visited us during the night, and we fell in love with the baby donkey who was jumping around having the time of its life. Looking forward to our next stay!

Our family loved the privacy, creek, pizza oven area and large stones around the firepit. The cows were so cute and the family was helpful in bringing some extra firewood for us. We definitely look forward to coming back again! There is a bit of a slope down to the creek but the rope to climb back up was especially helpful for our son.

Fun campsite perched atop a clean spring fed creek. Host was communicative and helpful. Amenities not often found at other spots made the trip very fun and memorable for us.

1 night at Turquoise Acres Ranch

Bethany was helpful and accommodating, especially considering the last minute nature of my booking. I was only there for a quick overnight stop, but looks like a great place when they have events. There's a barbecue food truck, restrooms, animals, playground for the kids, and a large communal fire pit area.

2 nights at Skoolie in the City

Very comfortable stay with heaters to keep it warm even with overnight temperatures being cold. Bus was hooked up to power and water and gas making it a fully equipped place to stay for a quick shower, using the toilet, and cooking. I even got a little hot at one point the first night with the heaters and warm clothing. Easy to find, easy to park, and not too far away from the suburbs and downtown

Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. I hope that you too can understand why we always walk alway feeling like this is a very special spot! The campground's name pays homage to the Coushatte Indians, and visitors can explore an Indian Mound on the property, where numerous arrowheads have been discovered. After many years of dedicated management, Trenckmann and Margie passed the torch to their son Howard and his wife Pamela, who operated the ranch until November 2019. The campground is now under the ownership of George Jarkesy, who aims to enhance the experience for guests.
