A family owned and operated 15 acre campgrounds park with RV sites not a concrete parking lot with RVs, along the Frio River, only 5 mins from Garner State Park in Rio Frio, Texas, with direct access to both sides of the crystal clear spring-fed running waters at this magical swimming hole with a picturesque bend that has served as campgrounds for many families since the 1960's that camp, fish, kayak, and tube to Happy Hollow and Garner State Park. The property is lined with massive cypress trees, a pecan grove on the campgrounds, vast amounts of wildlife, and amazing starry nights perfect for stargazing, camping, swimming, fishing, kayaking, hiking, tubing, and campfires. Choose from 9 RV spots, 25 tent camping sites with electricity, 50 primitive camping sites, van and car camping sites, many boondocking sites, 3 extra special primitive river side sites, and soon to come glamping sites.
7 RV sites come with full availability to 30/50 amp electricity, water, septic tank, picnic table, bbq grill, high speed wifi, and all sites come with access to amenities such as a resting pavilion with tables and furniture, clean restrooms, full hot/cold showers, large screen tv, cooling fans, outdoor cooking gas grills, Texas sized bbq smoker, dog park, games for kids and adults, a monarch butterfly sanctuary and a new organic farm in the process.
Located on Ranch Road 1120 only 5 minutes north of Garner State Park our property is the drop in for tubers and kayakers to jump in with your tube or kayak and float to Happy Hollow, Garner State Park, Neal's or Andy's. Rio Frio is 10 minutes south of Leakey and 10 minutes north of Concan away from lights and lots of noise. We embrace the Dark Sky pledge for stargazers seeking to enjoy the night sky, the Leave It Better pledge, ask that you Don't Mess with Texas, and ask that you treat others as you want to be treated.
We have firewood available at discounted rates for larger bundles than stores. We please ask that you respect all wildlife as we are in process of becoming a monarch sanctuary. There are many types of birds, butterflies, axis and whitetail deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, armadillos, and fish. No hunting and please have your fishing license.

Welcome to Get Your Frio On! We are a full service lodging location 850 yards from an entry point to the Frio River in Sabinal, TX. We have The Cowboy House that sleeps 18, Cabins 1-6 that sleep anywhere from 6-12 people, Pull through and back in RV slots, and two camp ground locations on the property for tent camping! We have a full service bath house with two showers, two toilets, and two sinks for both men and women.

Cool spot near tons of Texas’s beautiful nature spots to explore . This camp has cool accommodations and shared community spaces.
We stayed at campsite 1 and felt secluded and loved the clean tent pad sites. We also added firewood to our reservation and it was piled up nicely at campsite upon arrival. Great host.

Seco. campgrounds was so cute ! they have Wi-Fi with in the communal kitchen . The bathrooms are nearby and there are cute chickens and goats. Woody greeted us upon arrival and made sure that we were comfortable. I would def recommend this for a campgrounds close to Lost Maples

We always love our visits to Woody's place. This was our fourth year visiting and this time we brought my parents who absolutely loved it. We had so much privacy and loved the sunsets, quiet and views. We also loved walking to the main community area and catching some live music Saturday evening. Can't wait to be back next year.

We enjoyed our stay at Seco Ridge! The #1 secluded spot worked out well and was pretty private and quiet. We don't need all the common amenities provided but for those who do, its a nice option. There were a few times communication with the host was delayed, and while WiFi was available, the password was not posted. Otherwise, a great spot! Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely gorgeous area. I loved the ease of booking and getting to the campsite, and was very happy to see the chickens and a sweet cat when going to use the available restroom. Also was very pleased to see plenty of firewood at my site(since I chose the option to have it) thank you again! This was my second time here and I’m sure it won’t be the last :)
