One of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed! Massive catfish in the river and lots of room to explore. The house is historic and super cozy! 10/10 would definitely recommend! Hosts were superb and were there anytime we needed them!

We went tent camping on Kegans land and had a great time. We loved the bridge and the sky full of stars. Campsites right by the river with firepits, grills, picnic tables and a bathroom with a shower. We were very happy.

Stopped in on a Monday night. a trip from NM to Austin. 30 ft truck camper. I was looking for somewhere off the major highways and that’s what i found. I travel with 100 pound golden retriever and she approved of the river and acre of grass. Nice host, lovely site. I will go back.

This was such a lovely place to stay! Plenty of beautiful trees and shade, some nice grassy areas towards the river, tons of space to spread out! We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to others.

Jason, the manager, was so kind and helpful! We had a great experience. The swimming pool is one of the largest I have seen 🤩! We camped 2 nights and enjoyed every moment!

It was a nice quiet campground right next to the suspension bridge. You can easily access the bridge for pictures. Camp also had river access, but it was muddy the day we stayed.

We had an absolute blast! The site is very secluded and has alot of trees. Right off the river, perfect for fishing. We used the canoe, but they also have paddle boats and kayaks. Ted, the host, was accommodating, friendly, and gracious. Pet friendly and plenty of space. Fire pit was included. We will be staying again!

An absolute escape from the world. The spot right off the river is amazing and isolated. You can fish right off the Riverside. They had kayaks a canoe and paddle boats for the visitors and are very pet friendly.. I made a mistake with my booking, and the host was very pleasant and worked with me on the details. I will be staying again.

It was exactly as advertised. The river was low. Rainfall is needed. But….we will stay there again. If you want a camping experience off the beaten path, this is it. Only cars heard were those coming to and from the campground. The bridge is super cool. Place was clean. Hosts were attentive. Thanks!

This place is like a little paradise got a river winding around it and go fishing. We were camped down in a meadow quiet as can be stocked with firewood nicest people you ever met. Cannot wait to get back.

Everything was excellent. Really beautiful old home with comfortable beds on a large piece of land that’s easy to lose yourself on (in all the good ways). Owners stopped by to check on us a few times and were super kind. Highly recommend.

This is my 2nd time coming to this awesome Campsite! I brought my fiancé this time and we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend camping trip. If you’re looking for a place where you can drive up to your spot, drop your tailgate. Set up camp, have a fire, and fish. This is the spot. All the privacy in the world you could ask for. Ted’s plot of land is truly a slice of heaven. We even kayaked up into lake brownwood where caught a wicked sunburn and some white bass. Highly recommend this place if you and the boys or you and the wife want to get away.
