We had an absolute blast! The site is very secluded and has alot of trees. Right off the river, perfect for fishing. We used the canoe, but they also have paddle boats and kayaks. Ted, the host, was accommodating, friendly, and gracious. Pet friendly and plenty of space. Fire pit was included. We will be staying again!

They had kayaks a canoe and paddle boats for the visitors and are very pet friendly.. I made a mistake with my booking, and the host was very pleasant and worked with me on the details. It was exactly as advertised. The river was low. Rainfall is needed. But….we will stay there again. If you want a camping experience off the beaten path, this is it. This is my 2nd time coming to this awesome Campsite! I brought my fiancé this time and we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend camping trip. If you’re looking for a place where you can drive up to your spot, drop your tailgate. Set up camp, have a fire, and fish. This is the spot. All the privacy in the world you could ask for. Ted’s plot of land is truly a slice of heaven. We even kayaked up into lake brownwood where caught a wicked sunburn and some white bass. Highly recommend this place if you and the boys or you and the wife want to get away.
