What a peaceful, cozy, comfortable spot, with the kindest hosts. The cabin was perfectly appointed. I needed a place to rest and recharge and I got exactly that. The outdoor shower was the icing on the cake. Pretty much nothing better than being sheltered by a wise old oak tree as you wash off that road dirt. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to see the more peaceful and humane side of Austin!

Weekend Trip to The Reserve at GreenLeaf
We had such a wonderful time. Our hosts greeted us for a short intro to the place which was nice. I got some pointers on how to use a French Coffee press (you'll see) and we got the lay of the land. There are walking trails, a community fire pit (there are only 4 yurts), a pavilion with Corn Hole type games and a hot tub (didn't try it out). It was extremely peaceful and calm. A great place to forget about things for a couple of days. Also, Bastrop has a nice downtown area. We ate at Neighbors (?) downtown and enjoyed sitting on the patio by the river.

Loved the vibe of this place! I stayed in the airstream and it was so cute and fun. They put a lot of details that made my stay comfortable. The area is beautiful and having access to the Colorado River was awesome. We took rides in the golf cart and hung out at the pool. Super dog friendly and I appreciated how safe I felt in the space. The container bathrooms were clean and loved the set up. Also appreciated the showers having a bench and hooks. I can tell they put a lot of thought into the little things that make a good stay. We had the most fantastic weekend staying on Bridget’s land. The super cute camper was the perfect size for me and my 2 daughters. There were kayaks available and a boat that we were able to use on the river. The scenery was amazing and so relaxing- literally right on the river. The bathroom was the best I have ever used on a camping trip. There is a flush toilet and 2 showers with plenty of hot water! Bridget was so kind and communicative about the property and with questions I had. I will definitely be back. It is so worth it- you won’t regret staying here!!

Comfy queen size bed with working mini fridge/freezer, AC, toaster, coffee maker, TV with Netflix and other apps, wifi (although occasional off), cleaning products, with a working nice shower/toilet with hot water, plus you can fish, kayak/canoe, make fire, and animals all over the place for some friendly neighbors. First thing first, since this is about getaway, this place is not too far from the city, but definitely gets you out from the city. In the middle of nature, you can see deers, lizards, ducks, and lot more. The place is very cute and my wife and I loved being here for 2 nights. The host is very caring, she lives on the site and she helped us with anything she could do to make our stay feel better. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway not too far from Austin, I am planning to come back with my daughter next time.

We are a family of 4 plus dog with a studio apartment/casita available for short-term rental in our backyard. Casita El Dorado features a full bathroom, couch/murphy bed combo, mini fridge, and kitchenette. Please note that the proximity to the main house doesn't allow for a great deal of privacy unless you are indoors. Our property is 1.25 acres in a 1970s suburban neighborhood. We think it's the perfect mix of community and urban convenience with a tranquil and private setting. Guests will have access to our backyard and pool and one off-street parking spot. The backyard features several seating areas and a pool that are available to use during your stay. We have a grill, fire pit, and laundry facilities that can be used by making arrangements directly with us after booking. OTHER SITES Bootstrap Academy - our pandemic backyard schoolhouse - is now a flex space featuring a home office setup, some work out equipment, and a twin bed with a second twin mattress as a trundle.
