A few rules...
1. Check in is before sunset. We ask that all Hipcampers wait at gate for staff to guide you to your location for safety reasons. Contact us if you arrive ahead of schedule.
2. No wondering by the upper level cabins (these are private property). Showers are behind these cabins. Please respect staff spaces.
3. If you have an extra vehicle, please park it with your other vehicle.
4. If you have a 3rd extra vehicle, let us know and we will direct you where to park it.
5. Please be courteous of other campers space and road access.
6. All kids are free. If your kids are 17 and under do not add them or it will charge.
7. If you have an impairment please let us know before booking so that we can ensure a space is ready and suitable for you.
8. All dogs must be on leash. Please clean up your dogs Poop.

Due to new adjacent properties developments, and new neighbors moving in nearby, there are occasional neighboring barking, music and gunshots that can be heard from the distance, which is pretty common out in the countryside here.

There is currently a group of 10 people who spend the majority of our time living and striving to create community on these 85 beautiful acres of land.
Our goals are to establish a thriving community, grow most of our own food,
build tiny houses to rent or sell, create sustainability and be as self sufficient as possible, salvage
material for builds, host events and retreats, teach classes, and more. Please feel free to ask questions and share any interest you may have in what we are doing here.
Our property is a densely forested 85 acres with a walk-able 2 miles around the perimeter of the property and many trails and hidden nooks to explore throughout the heart of this beautiful escape back to our natural roots. We are in the process of mapping out the trails- which we plan to make available soon! For now those of you with a sense of adventure and desire to explore will certainly be satisfied.
We have a full acre size pond and a kayak that you can feel free to use. There is a communal area around the pond that we will be adding to in the near future- you may run into some of our community members or other campers there from time to time, we invite you to socialize, bring a chair, perhaps a beverage or snack and get to know each other and us as well if we cross paths!
You will observe and encounter wildlife in abundance including a variety of birds, wild hogs, opossums, armadillo, moles, spiders, scorpions, butterflies, praying mantis, walking sticks, snakes- keep an eye out for rattlesnakes and copperheads, deer, many insects, and more. Please be cautious and treat these creatures' home with respect for them as well as yourselves. Our property is also home to some lovely cows, chickens, a few dogs, and several cats- they (other than the cows who do what they please) generally remain in areas away from our camp sites though they may still decide to stop by to say hello!
We have many spaces available for camping throughout the property. These are primitive campsites on raw land so you will need to provide your own tent, water, food, and operate with a leave no trace mentality when camping here. There are areas that can accommodate large groups of campers as well as very secluded nooks if you are looking for a private retreat into nature. There is plenty of fallen wood available for firewood and a fire pit will be prepared for you before arrival!

A few rules...
1. Check in is before sunset. We ask that all Hipcampers wait at gate for staff to guide you to your location for safety reasons. Contact us if you arrive ahead of schedule.
2. No wondering by the upper level cabins (these are private property). Showers are behind these cabins. Please respect staff spaces.
3. If you have an extra vehicle, please park it with your other vehicle.
4. If you have a 3rd extra vehicle, let us know and we will direct you where to park it.
5. Please be courteous of other campers space and road access.
6. All kids are free. If your kids are 17 and under do not add them or it will charge.
7. If you have an impairment please let us know before booking so that we can ensure a space is ready and suitable for you.
8. All dogs must be on leash. Please clean up your dogs Poop.

There is currently a group of 10 people who spend the majority of our time living and striving to create community on these 85 beautiful acres of land.
Our goals are to establish a thriving community, grow most of our own food,
build tiny houses to rent or sell, create sustainability and be as self sufficient as possible, salvage
material for builds, host events and retreats, teach classes, and more. Please feel free to ask questions and share any interest you may have in what we are doing here.
Our property is a densely forested 85 acres with a walk-able 2 miles around the perimeter of the property and many trails and hidden nooks to explore throughout the heart of this beautiful escape back to our natural roots. We are in the process of mapping out the trails- which we plan to make available soon! For now those of you with a sense of adventure and desire to explore will certainly be satisfied.
We have a full acre size pond and a kayak that you can feel free to use. There is a communal area around the pond that we will be adding to in the near future- you may run into some of our community members or other campers there from time to time, we invite you to socialize, bring a chair, perhaps a beverage or snack and get to know each other and us as well if we cross paths!
You will observe and encounter wildlife in abundance including a variety of birds, wild hogs, opossums, armadillo, moles, spiders, scorpions, butterflies, praying mantis, walking sticks, snakes- keep an eye out for rattlesnakes and copperheads, deer, many insects, and more. Please be cautious and treat these creatures' home with respect for them as well as yourselves. Our property is also home to some lovely cows, chickens, a few dogs, and several cats- they (other than the cows who do what they please) generally remain in areas away from our camp sites though they may still decide to stop by to say hello!
We have many spaces available for camping throughout the property. These are primitive campsites on raw land so you will need to provide your own tent, water, food, and operate with a leave no trace mentality when camping here. There are areas that can accommodate large groups of campers as well as very secluded nooks if you are looking for a private retreat into nature. There is plenty of fallen wood available for firewood and a fire pit will be prepared for you before arrival!

If the pond’s low, bring a float or take our kayaks ten minutes away to a secret bend in the San Marcos River. We’ll share the pin.

We had such a great time staying at this treehouse in Lockhart! My wife and I stayed here with our two dogs, and it was the perfect cozy getaway for all of us. It had a really fun camping feel while still being comfortable, and the way it was creatively built around the tree made it feel unique and special. We especially loved the arts and crafts touches—it added so much charm. The bed was warm and super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. On top of that, the host was very responsive and genuinely kind, which made the whole stay even better. We’d definitely recommend this spot and would love to come back!

Son and I spent 2 nights in the bus/van. 75 feet from the most equine therapy you can have, with a mix of the sweetest most docile mix of miniatures and horses you could have. Additionally, they have calmest ram i have ever seen (apparently in some sort of sordid love affairs with a mare, but each to their own). The owners Makayla and Jason were very sweet and accommodating towards us both in the camping and our trail ride. Next time we come back we might try the bucolic sites on the new banks of the river. Thanks Everyone!

Excellent place to recharge and connect in nature! Responsive host, clean and cozy accommodations and beautiful horses!
There’s plenty of room to roam and sun bathe. There’s a restroom and at this time there isn’t a shower. There’s running water and a water filtration system in the bus.

We had a great experience. Landers was very accommodating and helpful. Although people were close by, everyone kept to themselves, and the campsite still felt private. His two dogs were so sweet and respectful to our two dogs (and us!). We would absolutely stay here again :)

Weekend Trip to Colorado RiverBend Retreat #CRBR
I brought my wife here for Valentine’s Day, and we both had an amazing time. The property where the campsite was, was beautiful and serene. It was just the type of environment that we needed to ground ourselves and find some peace. We stayed at Terrys camper site and words can’t described how comfortable, clean, and cozy the place was. The restrooms were very clean and taken care of. This was the best experience I’ve had camping/glamping. This was my wife’s first time going camping, since she’s a city girl, I was somewhat worried on the experience, but it’s safe to say that I won her over to the outdoor life. Thank you Bridget for hosting us. We will be back!

Weekend Trip to Breathe Deeply
Perfect weekend getaway from apartment living! Plenty of privacy and an enclosed gate so our pup could wander while we made a campfire. Hot tub was such a wonderful treat, all water was temperature controlled and easy to use, compost toilet was clean, the bed was sooo comfy and grilling/cooking amenities were plentiful w/ options! Landers was an excellent host with clear direction and quick communication. This place is in an excellent location for travelers or those just looking for a nearby weekend retreat. Very safe. Love the ducklings on site. We look forward to visiting again very soon.

Shellie is such a great host, the treehouse has everything you could need for a few days getaway. The space is so unique and secluded, allowing you and your guests to unwind. Definitely book more than 1 night so you get the full day's experience. Would go again.

Great and secluded little spot on the river. There are more tent/rv sites nearby, but i had the whole area to myself. Bathroom was clean, well lit and close by. Camper covered the basics and ac/heater unit kept us comfortable.

So a friend of mine recommended this spot and the family liked the idea of camping Christmas weekend so that's what we did. Booked the cute little camper and pitched a tent outside. It worked out perfect for a family of 4 adults & 2 littles. The camper is so adorable and was very comfortable. They've got a mini fridge, coffee pot w/ coffee provided and even had a TV! Guys were able to watch the football game on a big screen! Oh and did I mention it's air conditioned! Huge fire pit and the outhouse was pretty cool. 2 showers and toilet and just across from the camper which was very nice. Towels and shampoo were provided even. They had canoes to use at your discretion. A swing for small ones. Very much a nice & cozy spot and would definitely camp there again!

I really enjoyed my time at the p2 farm. First off, the beautiful horses, the open land, the sweet puppies, the male and female sheep hip to hip couple, the 400 year old Mother Tree, the open starry sky, the river, to Makayla’s wonderful hospitality was everything I was hoping for when I booked. The bus was a plus since I did not have to do much camp set up and had my own space and refrigerator! It was nicely remodeled and very cozy even for 2 people and 3 mid sized dogs! Our dogs got to roam freely. I also got to view the campsites near the Mother Tree and the river bank which were very nice. There’s a large communal area for cooking and gathering. I highly recommend this place if you really want the farm life while roughing it as true camper! I got the luxury of having 80 degree weather during the day and 60 degree weather at night. Perfect for a fire. And this was in December! They also offer horse trail rides which I plan to do next time!

Terry's Spot is the perfect campground. Me and my company couldn't have enjoyed our time more. Everything was nice and clean. Bridget is the perfect hostess. Gave us a little tour of the land and showing us the hot tub shack. I highly recommend booking with Bridget for your next camping trip. We will be returning for another visit.

Weekend Trip to The Reserve at GreenLeaf
We had such a wonderful time. Our hosts greeted us for a short intro to the place which was nice. I got some pointers on how to use a French Coffee press (you'll see) and we got the lay of the land. There are walking trails, a community fire pit (there are only 4 yurts), a pavilion with Corn Hole type games and a hot tub (didn't try it out). It was extremely peaceful and calm. A great place to forget about things for a couple of days. Also, Bastrop has a nice downtown area. We ate at Neighbors (?) downtown and enjoyed sitting on the patio by the river.

Absolutely everything is what you would expect. This was an oasis hidden in an unexpected place. I came for solitude and a menu for each meal, just to toss is out of the window and explored the eateries within distance (thanks Tamara!). I will definitely be back with the family and more, I want everyone to know, this is a place of peace and freedom. Staff Goes Above and Beyond
The single most standout element of our trip was the incredibly helpful and welcoming staff. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was friendly, professional, and attentive. Whether we needed local recommendations or help troubleshooting a minor setup issue, they were quick to assist and truly made us feel like valued guests. Their dedication to ensuring everyone has a great time is clear.
The Awesome New Dock
The newly constructed dock is a major upgrade and easily the highlight of the facilities. It's spacious, well-maintained, and makes water access so easy. Whether you're using it for fishing, launching a small boat, or just relaxing and watching the sunset over the water, it is a truly beautiful and functional addition to the camp.
Truly Pet-Friendly
For dog owners, this is the place to be! The campground allows dogs and the atmosphere is wonderfully welcoming to pets. It made a huge difference being able to bring our furry family member along, and we saw plenty of other happy campers enjoying the pet-friendly environment.

Our stay at The Robin’s Nest was the perfect weekend getaway from the city. This unique home will truly have you sleeping in the trees.
