You will have direct access to the river for kayaking, tubing, fishing, swimming, hiking, or just sitting along the bank enjoying the fresh air. Our family’s favorite activity is gathering by the fire pit at night, listening to the river, and gazing at the stars, which shine brighter here than anywhere we’ve ever been. Usually if someone comes down the road it is the Post Man, UPS or Fed EX except for the 4th of July when our boat dock is often a prime location for a big fireworks display. Usually can't tell a Saturday from a Tuesday most of the time as 80-90% of houses in the area are second vacation homes and unoccupied most of the year. Only 2 houses are located past ours before the cul-de-sac. We are separated by trees and woods on both sides. Private yet very Conveniently located. Getting around Plenty of Convenient Parking located across the concrete driveway. A Large Heavy Duty Wagon is Available for loading and unloading. Easy in and out with room for two campers if you want to have a friend join. We highly recommend this site. When I asked for local suggestions they shared a great list. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer.

We had a wonderful time staying at John's campsite and thoroughly enjoyed the absolutely incredible views!! We have a 45ft Class A Motorhome pulling a 25ft flatbed trailer carrying our full-size Titan truck and had plenty of room. We were a little concerned upon reading some people's reviews about the drive to the campsite so we unhooked the trailer from the rv prior to driving up the mountain and pulled the trailer with the truck to which we had no problems at all getting to the campsite. The campsite has 50 amp hookup, water, sewer and excellent wifi. Did I mention the impeccable views 😀 We surely hope to stay here again the next time we travel to this area. Thank- you for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise John. PS: I miss that Rocky of yours, he is such well behaved, sweet handsome boy!

Tmobile full signal. Information on getting there. We pulled a 36 ft tag along trailer. It's very narrow one lane road last 1/4 mile. But no traffic hardly.

I thoroughly enjoyed camping at Carrie's. The campsite is gorgeous and peaceful--the perfect location for relaxation and soaking in some nature. We set up our hammock for some r and r, explored a nearby creek, and hiked the trail on the property. Carrie is so friendly and helpful. She provided water and there are potable hands pumps. There's an outhouse and you can purchase firewood, too. This experience exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you, Carrie!

Let me tell you, this place is fantastic! The view is spectacular! This is a very large lot with all hookups, fire ring, wood, picnic table and a wonderful wooden swing to enjoy the view. We really only slept here! But it was very pretty and quiet despite proximity to the road. It was super accessible from Gatlinburg/PF. The toilet/shower was great! We did worry we were bothering the people in the little cabin each time we started the pump. We noticed upon our arrival the firewood area wasn’t stocked, but some time over that first night wood appeared. The two little solar-powered lights in our site did not work, and none of the tiki torches would light. Something splashed around in the creek a couple times, but no crazy wildlife encounters.

The property is 5 minutes or less from a Family Dollar and a Walmart market but is back off the main road far enough you don’t feel like you’re in the busy of everything. My kids loved the swing, hammock and being able to just run around all where we could keep an eye on them. You’re within 15 minutes (on a busy day) to Dollywood and Splash Country

Good campfire, close to town so it isn't inconvenient, it is well set up and clean which was nice. We were the only site with campers the night that we stayed there, if there had been multiple more sites filled it may have felt a little cramped. Well designed though and I would stay again.
