Weekend Trip to Mountainview Rock Island rv/tent

The serenity, view, wash/power station, and outhouse provided the perfect camping weekend. The site was secure for us and our belongings and was easy to get to. 10/10 would recommend and would love to come back. If you go, check out the visitor journal (stored in the outhouse) for a detailed account of ours and other's experiences. Melissa was the "hostess with the mostest!" She was easy to communicate with and provided fast and helpful communication before, during, and at the end of our stay. Go check it out for yourself!

1 night at The Ole Place

Our second trip camping at The Ole Place. Kids enjoyed the boats and the wife and kids caught several fish from the 3 acre stocked pond (catch and release) The firewood stacked nearby is really a perk of this spot. Randy is quick to respond if needed. Even with several spots reserved that weekend, there is a ton of privacy. Zero road noise, just frogs and crickets to fall asleep to.

1 night at Magnolia Campground at Hixson Farms

This was one of my best memories with the Grandkids and I wish we would have stayed another day of two. Jana was most accommodating in every way and gave the kids a taste of farm living. We will be back with the younger grandkids when they get old enough to enjoy the mini horses and donkeys! 🥰

Loved it. Ended up sleeping in the back of my Toyota Yaris and got there really late but the people that were camping nearby were amazing and I was hoping to see Gary because he seemed cool but overall I love this place

Weekend Trip to Caney Hollow Creek Retreat

We had such a wonderful time camping at Lindsey’s property! My fiancé and I, along with our two dogs, stayed for just one night but it was truly memorable. The land was peaceful, spacious, and perfect for exploring — we especially loved hiking along the nearby creek with its crystal-clear waters. The lack of artificial lights preserved the natural beauty of the night sky, making for some incredible stargazing. Even though our stay was short, it was incredibly special, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Next time, we hope to bring family and friends to share in this beautiful experience. Thank you, Lindsey, for being such a thoughtful and welcoming host!

Campground is very convenient to the beautiful falls. FHU site we stayed in was plenty long but narrow. It looks like they are working on landscaping improvements. Very quiet, had a store we didn’t utilize. We were in town for The Caverns, about 30 drive away. Overall nice stay.

Weekend Trip to Caney Hollow Creek Retreat

There were only 3 sites on a large meadow bordered on one side with a creek. The property was surrounded by trees and farmland. We were the only ones there. Very quiet and restful. Lindsey was a great host and very patient with me as I had trouble registering through the app. Which it turned out to be user error. What can I say.

2 nights at Campsite on the Caney

We have stayed at Campsite on the Caney for two years in a row now on our rv travels from the Uk. It’s a fantastic site on a beautiful stretch of the river. Cameron is an excellent host, ensuring everything is ready for you before you arrive. Water, electric, sewer and wifi. Kayaks there to go out on the water in, BBQ grill and fire pit, picnic table, swinging seat. We visited in May/June and the fireflies in the evening were beautiful. Our children (and us!) thoroughly enjoy staying here and wouldn’t hesitate in booking again on our next visit over to the States

We loved this place. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves and our dogs loved it. There was a great pond view. The shower area was nice and clean. Even the privy was well kept.

Weekend Trip to Camp Chet

Fantastic camping spot, we'll be back! We started off on a mistake, not reading the directions again before arrival and made a one of a kind trip to the backcountry of the property with our trailer. Host were great! They were so patient and helpful as they helped us navigate our way out of the self imposed conundrum. Once we got to our site, we loved it. Site was great, it was quiet. Everything was well taken care of. The portal potty was the cleanest one ever!

Weekend Trip to The Ole Place

We loved Randy's property!! We rented all of the sites to host our new annual family get together. The grounds were beautiful and clean. The paddle boats were a big hit with the kids. There were a lot of great places to fish and places to walk and ride bikes. Randy provided an abundance of firewood so we could enjoy sitting around the campfire and eating s'mores. We were especially appreciative of Randy notifying us about weather alerts. What a great spot to get away. We highly recommend this spot.

1 night at Sasquatch Farm

A beautiful hidden treasure. This tv park is spotless. We found nothing out of place. We stayed the Sunday before Memorial Day and it was perfect. The shower trailers are amazing and the laundry facilities, WOW! Nice surprise. They even have a huge camp store. You have to check this place out full hook up rv sites.

Weekend Trip to Magnolia Campground at Hixson Farms

This was our first RV journey, and it did not disappoint. The farm animals and ander everywhere and love people...just be sure any pets you bring are ok with them. Janna was extremely hospitable, and she had us help her feed one of the Highland cows... another example of this not just being a stay, but an experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this site! It was a beautiful drive in and very easy to find. The outhouse was awesome. The view was 10/10 we can't wait to come back and stay longer!

Little Bone Cave campground is in the mountains of Tennessee with hiking trails and a beautiful view located on 16 acres. This campground adjoins Bone Cave State Natural Area located in Van Buren County. Big Bone Cave is a 400 acre natural area with trails and a cave that contained bones of a giant ground sloth discovered in 1811 and is maintained by Rock Island State Park. The cave is not currently open to the public. Rock Island State Park (swimming, fishing and hiking) is only 6 miles from the campground and Fall Creek Falls State Park (swimming, fishing, hiking and home of the Annual Mountaineer Folk Festival) is a beautiful 25 mile drive through the winding roads and mountains of Van Buren county. A public boat ramp maintained by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is two miles away to access the Caney Fork River. Come enjoy with friends and family. Campsite #1, "Valley View" is a Rv with 30 amp electric with sewer and water or it can be a primitive campsite that is a wide open space and is approximately 1-2 acres with a beautiful view overlooking the valley below. We do have electric, sewer and water 340 gl tank with a hose, a picnic table and a fire ring at this site. if you'd prefer, you can locate a spot of your choosing off the beaten path anywhere within our 16 acres (ask the hostess for details). We now have rv hook up with a 30 amp electric service, sewer and water available. We have wildlife such as bobcats, coyotes, deer, owls, snakes, turkeys and rumor has it, maybe even a bigfoot. There is river access directly behind Smooth Rapids Grill and a short walk from the campground. We sell fire wood. We have a climate controlled bathhouse on site with restrooms and hot showers. Tent sites 14,15,16,17, and 18 have regular 15 amp electrical hookups. The other tent sites are primitive. Travel Trailers and RVs will not fit in tent sites. Camper Vans or Small Pop Up Campers can use tent sites as long as the electrical consumption does not exceed 15 amps. All of RV sites have 30/50 amp electrical and water hookups. There is a dump station near the entrance to the campground for gray and black tanks. RV dump service is available for a fee if you would rather us handle that for you. Caney Hollow Creek Retreat

Escape the crowded, generic campgrounds on this rural property that is designed with RVs up to 45 ft in mind and enjoy the peaceful space. Learn more about this land: Out little slice of heaven has a beautiful spring fed creek and two large fields to play in. The creek can be waist deep in areas but mostly is good for sitting in and just relaxing. Extremely quiet on a dead end road. We have 5 bars of AT&T 5g cell service, Verizon can be hit or miss. All other cell services do not work. We love the creek and our secluded valley. Only a few farmers live down the road. This makes for a very private experience that can be naturalist / clothing optional friendly. The creek is secluded with plenty of trees to enjoy however you wish. Spaces are extremely level and there are good Satellite tv abilities. We have firewood on site and two stone fire pits. Nearby is a wonderful old grist mill, Tim's Ford state park, Tim's Ford lake, Jack Daniels Distillery and other attractions. We are also about 45 minutes from Huntsville, AL with the NASA Space and Science Center. Space #1 is closest to the road. Space #2 has a larger patio. This retreat is the Perfect way to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet not too far away from essentials. Hiking adventures nearby include University of the South Domain, Buggy Top, Walls Of Jerico and many more. 30 and 50 Amp pedestals at each site along with water and sewer hookups. Level sites. Due to health regulations, we only accept RVs with a pottie system as we do not offer bathroom facilities.

Our campsite offers privacy that you cannot get at a traditional campground. We provide full electricity, septic, and water hookups for campers. We now offer free fiber internet with your stay. The property has a private boat ramp/ driveway that leads to the water for launching boats, kayaks, swimming and easier fishing access. Our riverbank is a gradual, sandy slope that is perfect for swimming and kayaking in the summer months. The campsite offers a swing set, charcoal grill, picnic table, saucer swing, 2 kayaks with lifejackets, and firewood so campers can relax by the fire and enjoy watching the wildlife. INCLUDED WITH YOUR STAY: 2 kayaks and 2 paddles will be included during your entire stay. Please only use them at our campsite. Please wear your lifejacket while swimming and kayaking. NOTE: The river levels are controlled by the Great Falls Dam in Rock Island. During the months of October- early May, the water levels drop 20ft to prevent flooding. Surrounded by Fall Creek Falls State Park, Lost Creek Falls and Cave, Rock Island State park, Burgess Falls State Park, and Virgin Falls. Our campsite is minutes from Lost Creek Falls and Cave with a beautiful scenic drive through the back roads of White County. We have two amazing overlooks in White County: Welch's Point and Sunset Rock that pictures do not do justice! White County has more caves, waterfalls, and scenic overlooks per square mile than anywhere else in the United States. We are a bustling town with so much recreation, history, and culture that it has to be shared!
