This property is primitive with no electric and has a camping style bathhouse. IT’s recommended for outdoor lovers and people that are not too needy. Hurricane Helene brought unforecasted changes in the land but the tranquility of the River remains. We have worked to restore as much as we could. As for us it’s still our happy place in the Smoky Mountains!

Weekend Trip to The Heart Center

My wife and I stayed in the yurt to get away from the noise and celebrate my birthday and the Heart Center truly delivered. The land and energy this place holds is incredible. Liz was a fantastic host and both my wife and I were able to have a reiki session with her while staying here. To stay it was transformational for both of us would be an understatement. Both of us learned so much from our sessions and left the Heart Center feeling lighter both physically & emotionally. We will definitely visit again in the future and Liz - thank you for what you do and putting together such an amazing place of healing and warmth admist the natural beauty of the area. This place is so cute and was perfect for us, our 3 year old, and our dog. Our son loved the tiny home, calling it, "my house". The house is thoughtfully designed making the most of the such a small space. We had everything we needed and more. We are used to primitive camping so it was nice to have more accommodations available like shower, stove, dishes, a Keurig & microwave. It's only about a 25 minute drive to Gatlinburg with a Walmart down the street as well to grab some groceries or extras you may need.

Incredibile little place! Nestled in the trees this place has brought the peace and nature I needed to recharge. There is a cute club house with MKII and snacks. The tiny home itself is impeccable and decorated so cute. The owners are responsive and kind. The staff is wonderful. 10/10 will stay again. In fact, I extended my stay 2 days!!!

I would highly recommend staying at Kim & Rob’s, it was such a peaceful place with the sound of the brook while you slept. It was conveniently located not far from all the main attractions plus some unknown areas that Kim & Rob suggested that overlooked amazing scenery. The bus was comfortable and came equipped with everything I needed and Kim and Rob were excellent host, they made sure that I had everything I needed and were very accommodating. I would definitely stay on their property again.

I enjoyed staying in this Yurt! It was clean and felt luxurious. The people who lived in the area were quiet. At night I loved hearing the rushing water and frogs from my porch area. I felt safe here and there is a lock on the front door of the Yurt. If you need internet for work or school this may be a issue. I was unable to connect and my phone service with AT&T was spotty. I enjoyed my stay and would do it again.

Weekend Trip to The Heart Center

Everything in the description of this sacred space still didn't prepare me for the true beauty that's on this property. We were there during, suspected tornado activity, and the yurt kept us safe. I was amazed at how sturdy and resilient the yurt was. Liz is so kind, caring and considerate of her guests. I could not recommend this amazing place enough. I can't wait to go back.

This is a beautiful and serene camping spot. We stayed in one of the yurts, but the camping would have been fun too. The forest was full of spring flowers, and there is a beautiful short hike to a creek on the property. We have kids, and playing in the old school gymnasium was a big hit! We did do some nearby hiking, but our kids just wanted to go back to the Heart Center to play :). I also appreciated access to the dining room area. Being able to use a microwave while camping makes it so much easier! And we appreciated the coffee and tea Liz had ready every morning. What a treat! Liz was a wonderful host, and one of the best parts of our stay was getting to spend time with her. She is a kind and generous person!
