Come enjoy a unique stay on a working farm in our glamping campsite, complete with outdoor bathhouse & picnic pavilion. This site offers many comforts of home while still enjoying a completely unplugged getaway (no electricity available). Upon arrival, park in front of our farm store where we will meet you with our tractor and wagon to load your belongings to be delivered to the campsite. Check-in is 2-6 pm Central time. Our private campsite sits in the bend of one of our farm's creeks with two large old trees in the middle, along with a fire pit, picnic pavilion, 2 Adirondack open-air cabins, and an outdoor bathhouse. Whether you are booking for just yourself or a group up to 8, you have the entire campsite to yourself during your stay. Each Adirondack cabin can sleep up to 4. Each is complete with a queen bed and twin bunk beds. Please bring your own pillows, sheets and blankets as well as towels and washcloths for the outdoor bathhouse. The bathhouse includes a shower with hot water, toilet/changing stall, and outdoor sink for washing hands and dishes. No dish soap is provided, so bring your own. Property has been in the same family for 150 yrs. The farmhouse is 105 yrs and three generations of the same family still live there. There is a barn that has one bed on what was the hay loft. The space is large and sleeping bags or hammocks can be used to accommodate up to a total of 5 adults. Space is not safe for children under the age of 12. Located on 24 acres of woods which are protected on the Georgia Land Conservancy. Lots of space for tents, small RVs and campfires. There are no hook ups, but we can accommodate self-contained vehicles of any size. Outdoor porta potty. Cooking on firepit in the rear. Pizza delivery available and several restaurants within a short drive. Choice within a short drive of whitewater, hiking, rock climbing, sky diving, sightseeing. Grocery store and service station are located nearby. We are only 10 miles from downtown Chattanooga. We loved the glamping cabin and the views. It matches the description well. Great place to stargaze too we spotted some meteors as well! But it was super chilly and there was just one heater so that was little hard to sleep we assumed there would be more. But in summer I think it would have been the best. We didn't get to interact with hosts a lot but they were super responsive. Would definitely recommend but come geared up.

It was absolutely magical. My mom and my family of five with a 4, 3 and 2 year old had THE BEST time. We had plans to do things in the area and the grounds themselves were so amazing we never left once we parked. 10/10 in ALL ways. Dog friendly too.

Our stay was nice - the barn was unique and had antique items all around- the area was quiet and the metal roof was amazing to sleep under in the rain. Our host Rebecca was a joy to be around and was very accommodating. I will return in the fall if it is available as the area offers a nature lovers station for multiple local wonders.

It can be so difficult these days to find a clean, dog-friendly, & affordable place to stay - and this place meets all of those! The host greeted us upon arrival, and was so sweet. She had reached out prior to our arrival to ensure she started the heat, and we were perfectly toasty all night even in the December cold. The water was wonderfully warm, clean linens were provided, and you had all the cooking supplies you would need! We were just stopping through for the night on our way to Michigan, but we have already flagged this HipCamp to return to in the future! We may have found our “half-way” stop for all future trips.
