This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. As you’ll find all the sites are clear please don’t expect micromanaging of wild growth of our native plants in areas around the sites as we reserve those areas for the wildlife to enjoy. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prairie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, Blackstone grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

Weekend Trip to Clayton Geneva Memorial Camp Ground

Was an amazing place to just be with your loved one. Quiet and secluded from all the hussle and bussle of life. Highly recommend it if you ever just want to get away with your plus one or just some needed you time. But please don't be fooled thinking it's just for singles or couples. With a small air mattress placed under the raised Queen bed the youngsters now have their very own fort and resting place. It sits roughly 20 yards from the Cumberland River where we fished and swam then spent the evening relaxing under the trees by our small fire.. the host(s) Myke and Amber were amazing as well, they checked on us throughout our stay and offer a wide variety of services to make your stay even more comfortable. When the wife and i broke camp and slowly headed back to our busy lives simultaneously we said as we hit the black top.... Let's book this place again on our anniversary.......

There was an amazing amount of sleeping options in the tiny space, with a semi-private queen size bed with full linens, a full size futon, and 2 twin beds in the loft. There is also a hammock on the covered porch, tons of lounge chairs both with and without cushions, and a full table with chairs. Shower toiletries, soft and strong toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, and towels are all included. The toilet flushes, the outdoor shower heats up and I cant think of anything the outdoor kitchen is missing! My kids also appreciated playing with the cards and jenga. The creek is nearly dry, but we are in a heat dome this week (a couple battery operated fans we brought cooled both rooms enough for sleep). No electricity, but everything else you could want in glamping is there. If you forget basics or just want a soda, there is a convenience store maybe a couple miles down the street.

We were greeted on arrival, shown to our parking and given the lay of the land with great courtesy. Our family of four slept peacefully in the big tent, no pest intrusions or temperature issues. Our 5 year old loved the space as a giant playground, hopping across circled stumps and discovering the swings as she explored. My wife loved the unpretentious tone and how well equipped the outdoor kitchen is. The highlight for us was our dog’s experience. He immediately became best friends with the homestead dogs and had the absolute time of his life during our short stay.

The tents were sturdy and had bo issues in the rain. The platforms have them up off the ground, so no worries about mud. The tent had lots of extras such as a lantern, jackery, and fan. The host is extremely responsive to any messages received. The bathrooms and outdoor shower were easily accessible. There was a fire pit and a cooking grate at the site to cool on. It is a beautiful property!

Twin Valley Horse Ranch and Bed & Breakfast is such a delightful place! This is our second visit, and we truly appreciate how Janice has created a warm and welcoming environment that is also dog-friendly. Finding spots that welcome us and our furry friends can be tough, so we’re grateful for this special place. Luke’s Cabin is cozy and comfortable, equipped with everything you might need. We also love that here, you can disconnect and enjoy the tranquility without Wi-Fi. It’s a perfect home base for exploring the beautiful Smokey Mountains and nearby attractions, especially Dollywood, which is just about a 30-minute drive away. Whether you want to fill your days with adventures or simply relax by the lake or fire pit and spend time with the animals, there’s plenty to enjoy. We recommend all of Janice’s wonderful facilities, but our personal favorite is Luke’s Cabin.

Patrick and Angelica are amazing hosts. They were very responsive with any questions or issues that needed to be addressed. They treated me and my sons like family. My youngest is into rocks so Patrick showed him his collection and my boy took great interest. It's a remote, peaceful place that is well maintained with great care and one that I will definitely return to.

Weekend Trip to Twin Valley Horse Ranch

Janice was incredibly kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, and wildly multi-talented, and her ranch is a very special place! My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend in the Cowboy Hideout (which was built by loving hands from trees on the property!) with another mom/daughter duo, and the girls were already saying “mom, can we just live here all the time???” by the end of the first night. They had SUCH fun meeting and feeding all the animals (horses, donkey, mule, goats, ducks, chickens, sheep, dogs, cats & more!), helping out with farm chores, and even learning some country line dances. We created wonderful memories and really appreciate all that Janice & her friends/family did to make it such a beautiful experience.

Loved our stay! The Dome had all the amenities we needed and a wonderful view. We enjoyed days out and about at Big South Fork and the comfortable rest back home. We enjoyed the coffee set up and s’mores kit. We even enjoyed a rainy morning over the dome’s windows.

Weekend Trip to Clayton Geneva Memorial Camp Ground

Staying on Amber's property was phenomenal! We stayed in Jewel's Covered Wagon, and the glamping factor was TOP NOTCH. A cute and cozy covered wagon tiny space, including a dehumidifier/cooling unit (yay for cool air!), a small coffee maker, bench seats for sitting inside, small table and chairs on the deck....and an AMAZING host, Amber! She was prompt in answering our messages through the HipCamp app, and accomodating any and all of our requests. We knew going in that we were in for a rain filled weekend, but, it was PERFECT. A bundle of wood was there for us to use, a firepit, a picnic table, and a small iron grill. 2 EXTREMELY CLEAN port-o-potty's to use for bathroom needs, also right arctic across from our site. She does have showers also, up by the RV area. The site is just a 2 minute stroll from the Cumberland River, which was so peaceful! Absolutely a FIVE STAR experience, and we'll definitely go back again, for rain or shine camping! Thank you, Amber! 💚

We stayed during some intense rains, and to be honest it only made the experience that much better! The cabin is tucked off in the woods about 25ft from the fire pit and picnic table. It was quiet and peaceful. I look forward to staying again!

I stayed at the secluded riverside cabin and it was awesome! Patrick was so friendly and accommodating. This Hipcamp had so much to offer…bathrooms,showers,kayaks and so many styles of “roughing it”. Also close to a variety of outdoor activities and parks. I would definitely stay if I ever am back in the area

Definitely would recommend to splurge and get Tree Solo for some extra privacy. Everything was clean and well kept. The bed was super comfy and we enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch. The only downside to the site is that the fire pit is on a hill so there really isn’t any great place to sit in a chair next to the fire without it tipping over.

Patrick's Point is a great campsite. Options are available for tent camping, cabins, and really cool treehouse sheds. Great birdwatching, kayaking and just enjoying a peaceful place. Very clean and well-maintained. The hosts are so friendly and live on-site if you ever need anything or want to hear a good story. Order the Costa Rican breakfast--you'll be glad you did.
