Much of the timber on the place is nearly 100 years old hardwoods, with a couple of fields throughout. I camp here myself too, and can recommend it for privacy! Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

We had a very relaxing and peaceful five-night stay at Patrick’s Point River Camp in our 21’ camper. This is a huge property on the Cumberland River in southeast Kentucky. They offer everything from remote primitive tent camping to FHU RV sites. Our Premium RV site on the river could benefit from more gravel but was located under shade mere steps away from the shower house. Access to the campground could be challenging for an inexperienced driver pulling a car behind an 45’ Class A, but the road in was fine for us pulling a small trailer. Bathroom and shower facilities were clean and had good hot water and water pressure. The real reason we’ll be back was the hosts Patrick and Angelica. We have never been made to feel so welcomed in the five years we’ve been camping. They have mastered the perfect blend of providing excellent service and giving their guests space. Eager to offer recommendations for adventures or eating establishments, we were treated like family. We highly recommend Patrick’s Point River Camp!

First thing I would love to say is Kentucky is beautiful. We came from Nashville and the maps took us through some beautiful back roads. As we got closer to the campground we found an amazing produce stand about 2 minutes away. Stocked up on some great produce. Then we pulled up to the campground. We were greeted by Patrick. He is such a sweet man. We met his wife Angelica who was also so sweet. They gave us waters and kindly shared a bit about the campground and showed us where to go. It was a beautiful site. Right off the Cumberland river. Full hook ups. Sewer water and more power than we would ever need. We were also right by the bathrooms in case we needed them. We had a 38 ft 5th wheel which fit with so much room to spare. He brought us a couple bundles of fire wood for only $6 a bundle. The evenings cooled down a bit so we could sit outside with a campfire at night. The sound of the cicada’s was like a choir from God. Chickens run around and are so sweet. Plenty of river toys to rent with a shuttle to bring you back. See website. He had lots of hammocks and chair hammocks under his very large pavilion to sit and relax in. This is a wonderful place when you need some relaxing. It would also be so good for a large group to come and hang out and camp for a week. You would feel like this campground is all yours. We definitely will be back. I highly recommend this campground.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Patricks Point. Great location for a secluded spot on the Cumberland river. Dennis and Angelica go out of there way to make sure you have everything you want or need. There is a huge pavilion that would make a great get together for friends and/or family. If you are looking for something unique, and of the beaten path, you will enjoy this place.

The property was beautiful quiet and peaceful beautiful views of wildlife the Cumberland River and the structures on the property. The Host s were very nice people made you feel like you were at home.

We have been full time RVers for 3 plus years and have been all over most of the US. This has been one of our favorite places to stay to date. Amazing staff, thoughtfully laid out property, new laundry room, clean, and quiet. Our pups loved the dog park! Can’t wait to come back to see the next stage of expansion. Thanks for the lovely hospitality!
