We really enjoyed our time at Camp David! The Cumberland Plateau is a beautiful place and this property is a great home base for exploring—or just staying put and relaxing. It had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable while still "roughing it." It wasn't quite as private as we'd expected based on photos, but we enjoyed getting to know the hospitable hosts and really enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay near Knoxville and pigeon forge. We enjoyed both cities during our stay while also enjoying the peaceful atmosphere bear hollow had to offer. The kids and I loved feeding the fish and going to the creek. Maybe next time we will get a chance to enjoy the beautiful hiking trails.

This place is so cute and was perfect for us, our 3 year old, and our dog. Our son loved the tiny home, calling it, "my house". The house is thoughtfully designed making the most of the such a small space. We had everything we needed and more. We are used to primitive camping so it was nice to have more accommodations available like shower, stove, dishes, a Keurig & microwave. It's only about a 25 minute drive to Gatlinburg with a Walmart down the street as well to grab some groceries or extras you may need.

Incredibile little place! Nestled in the trees this place has brought the peace and nature I needed to recharge. There is a cute club house with MKII and snacks. The tiny home itself is impeccable and decorated so cute. The owners are responsive and kind. The staff is wonderful. 10/10 will stay again. In fact, I extended my stay 2 days!!!

Very nice spot to stay , very reasonable priced and had neat activities to do near home we stayed in.
Grounds where kept clean and staff that we did speak with was very kind.

Weekend Trip to Camp David on Cumberland Plateau
We highly recommend staying here! Our original trip fell through so we booked this place at the very last second and Shannon was very accommodating. We stayed 2 nights. The tiny home was a perfect size for me, my husband, and our dog. There’d be room for probably 3 more people too if you wanted. It was our anniversary weekend so we wanted to go somewhere secluded so we didn’t have to deal with anyone else and so our dog could run around off leash and that is exactly what we got. It was very quiet, all you could hear was the creek running and the birds chirping. Our weekend was kind of rainy but the spacious covered back porch still made it an enjoyable weekend. We’ll be back for sure.
Side note if you love nature, we heard whip-poor-wills at night and saw turkeys in the morning.
