Gorgeous and peaceful! I really enjoyed my stay and would visit again. The site is loaded with amenities for a great time for family, friends, or just by yourself. No leashes required for dogs and that was a great selling point for me. Would definitely visit again.

2 nights at Sunset Ridge

We had a great time camping at Sunset Ridge lot 3. There are some houses and shops/garages in viewing distance of all of the spots but that wouldn't stop us from staying there again. We had plenty of space to set up tents and play lots of games. We were able to pull the car right up to the spot which was nice. Daniel was very friendly and reached out to us to letting us know where we could get firewood. We felt very safe and would stay there again.

Back for our second stay and it was just as good as the first positive experience here. We love having hookups and a quiet private space all to our own with easy access to the city. We will definitely return as we visit Nashville several times a year. Thanks to Elisabeth and family for having us.

Weekend Trip to Sacred Dog Ranch

WILL BE REVISITING! The hosts are lovely, friendly, interesting people who will treat you like you’re a close friend. I brought my dog with me and she had a great time playing with their 8 dogs on the property, and the screened in porch is a game changer! There are a couple fun farm animals around. The cabin is perfect for a camping/shelter feel, a bed in a comfy decorated studio with windows. nothing too fancy just how we like it! Some of the cabins are still a work in progress so I’m very excited to visit Lisa and Gary in the future :) thankful to have found this and them!

Generally quiet in the immediate area, super clean and friendly staff. Constantly saw security present. Loved garbage pickup from site, super clean facilities.

These are the type of campsites we are looking for, spacious, dogs can run free, no one else around. The night are awesome with no light pollution you can see all the stars. The best part is the river, it is so beautiful. We can't wait to come back this summer.

Weekend Trip to Sacred Dog Ranch

Since Montgomery Bell State park will be closed for a while, we looked at alternate locations and found this one. This very spacious property with 30-amp hookup for our travel trailer was perfect. Lisa was very gracious and hospitable and her property had beautifully eclectic charm. Lots of sweet dogs roaming the property along with other points of interest Lisa will be happy to show you around. Would stay here even when M. Bell park opens back up!

Weekend Trip to The Bluffs At Tumbling Creek

William’s land was absolutely perfect. Went camping with my dog and we set up our tent next to the water. We spent our time walking along the creek, around the area and stargazing. Because it was just me and my dog, the site felt ginormous. It’s extremely peaceful and quiet. The area was a bit muddy still from the last time it rained but it wasn’t too bad. If planning on setting up a campsite near the water, I recommend bringing a wagon if you have a lot of things as it’s a bit of a walk to bring all your things over. Overall, the site was huge, private and peaceful. Ran into William (Sr.) when I was setting up and he was very nice and even left a baggie with s’mores ingredients. I highly recommend this site for anybody looking for a completely private campsite.

The graveled parking area measures 60' by 20' and offers a decent amount of privacy and a break from the city. This site is situated off to the side of the front yard in what we call "the triangle." Plus, all bordering neighbors are on acreage which leans into that feeling of privacy. Our single site offers water and electric hookups (50, 30, and 20 amp). We have a dump station on the property located just 200' from the site and we provide a towable dump tank at no additional charge. Additionally, the site includes high-speed WiFi and Ethernet Internet access for your convenience. In the Extras section, we sell firewood and water filters. Additionally, for no charge, we can loan out tools to fix your RV, an air compressor to fill tires, and more! We also have some outdoor games like ring toss. You'll have the entire front yard's approximately three, non-wooded, acres to walk dogs or simply enjoy a stroll. At night, the low light pollution offers amazing views of the sky while deer can often be seen crossing the property. Need to stretch your legs? The driveway is ~1,100 feet long, nearly a quarter mile each way, so feel free to walk up and down it without worrying about street traffic! Door Dash and other food delivery apps service this area. Plus, we're just 15 minutes away from several points of interest in the area, including the Richard Siegel Soccer Complex, MTSU, Stones River National Battlefield, two Greenway entrances, and the equestrian center. You're safety is very important to us! High-resolution security cameras are in use on this property with one that can see the RV site from about 100 yards away. Other cameras can see the entire front yard but none of them are focused on the RV site nor is it our intention to monitor it. * We prefer short term stays of less than 60 consecutive days, however, we are willing to make reasonable exceptions for traveling nurses on assignment and people moving to the area.
