The land is mowed down, lush green with some trees in the middle and just all around beautiful. There are 4 gravel RV pads and gravel paths around the homestead as well as 6 large wildflower gardens. Right now there are no activities on the land. Just a place to stay if someone wants to camp or you can walk on the paths. If you have a golf cart, you can ride those on the property. I do own 31 chickens which are a delight and I sell farm fresh eggs. I also sell produce and handmade goods seasonally. I also rent my tiny house on wheels on Airbnb and there could be a guest staying at any given time. We just ask that you walk around the tiny house front and back yard and not through it if there is a guest staying.
The camp sites have not been broken in yet so the spots are not in a designated area yet. There are 5 tent camp spots to choose from. The photos you see are the areas you can choose from. I supply a fire pit and free firewood for your use during your stay. We do not have bathroom facilities so please be prepared to use your own. There is also a Dollar General 2 minutes away.

Our 70-acre property is near the beautiful Tennessee River and is almost entirely rolling hills of timbered forest. A spring-fed creek, Mile Branch, also meanders through the length of the property. With food sources, water, and plenty of cover, there will surely be opportunities to see multitudes of wildlife. Decatur County is known as the Outdoor Capital of Tennessee. The Tennessee River is less than a mile away, the way the crow flies. We have a unique biodiversity in the West Tennessee Uplands with opportunities to explore geological formations, the Tennessee River Scenic Byway, the Tennessee Riverline, and much more. It is a sportsman’s paradise. Many of the outdoor activities center around the beautiful Tennessee River, which forms the eastern and southern borders of the county. The clean waters of the Tennessee provide plenty of opportunities, such as fishing, boating, swimming, and waterskiing. People around the state refer to Decatur County as “The Home of the Tennessee River.”

Please leave it better than you found it, and have respect for the flora and fauna because you are visiting their home. Please leave all of the rocks and vegetation on the property. Consuming wild-harvested foods to be consumed on-site is allowable.

Small lake in rear, fishing is allowed. You will see deer, bunny rabbits, turtles ect. Its in a cul-de-sac and only 1 very quiet neighbor. Feels like the country but Walmart and a laundry mat are only 5 minutes away. 30 and 50 amp plugs available for 1 rv, sewer, water and wifi all included. The rv/camping spot is $45 a night. 😀 If you are dry camping or in a vehicle no bathrooms are provided. Must take pic of electrical hook up & sewer before and after. Last 2 rv-ers left after messing up our plugs & sewer.. If any damage after you leave, a bill will be sent unfortunately 😕.

Pecan Grove, Bob & Carla made it such a great experience. He was communicative and flexible...we arrived on short notice. The site was wonderful with plenty of shade. Their dogs Freyda & Winnie were sweet dogs sniffing us through their fence.

This was a wonderful site for us. The host greeted us upon arrival to help us back in and hook up. We enjoyed the view and peace of being right on the river. For the only day of our trip when it rained, we were so happy to have the structure as we were able to cook on a grill and sit outside, again enjoying the river view while it was raining around us. We particularly liked that it was an easy location and pretty setting for walking our dogs. A bonus was that the host provided us with information on things to check out in the area. We did go to the civil war museum/battlefield which was excellent.

The camp is in a very nice pecan grove down a side street of the small town of Brownsville. Bob and his wife met us, showed us where to park, and brought us hot, homemade cookies. We had a very nice walk around the grove with the dogs and got a good night's sleep. This is just a few minutes off I-40 and a perfect place when you are driving across the country, as we were.

We popped in late for an overnight stay. Greeted by Bob, a super friendly host, with yummy homemade cookies in hand (thanks to his wife). Some nearby road sounds carried at night with tent camping, likely would not be heard in an RV.
Driving out the next morning we got a glimpse of the nearby town and it looked super cute with quaint shops, nice vibes, worth checking out.
