(We actually stayed in cabin 9 - we didn't realize 7 had bunk beds.) The cabin was cute and quiet - a great, central location for exploring the black hills! The bed was comfy; the AC, blackout curtains, and fan keeps us cool enough, and the coffee maker, fridge, and mugs made morning coffee easy. We enjoyed watching thunderstorms and birds from the porch swing. The porta potties were right next to the cabin and the bathroom with plumbing was an easy walk. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. They were prompt to respond to any requests we had, including switching out towels halfway through our 7-night stay. Would highly recommend again!

Very nice location. Easy access and close to several attractions. The cabin was well maintained and very clean. Bed was a little firm for our liking ( I know they can’t please everyone in that regard) we would absolutely recommend this spot and plan on coming back again. Thank you Pine Haven

The Hulett Motel's Riverside Chalet cabin was quiet, clean, and comfortable. It's not glamorous but it's exactly what we needed after a lonnnng day of driving, and so perfect as a launching point for a Devil's Tower sunrise walk the next morning. The staff were helpful and friendly, the creekside running by the cabins was full of songbirds as we awakened, and the little town has good options for cafe/bar/dive bar refreshments. I rolled in a little after 7pm, and it was quite easy to do an after hours check-in. The bathrooms were clean, towels were soft, and everything was just right after a long drive. Both the mattress and the bedding made it really tough getting up—I was so comfortable! Would happily include this as a stay on any future road trips!

We stayed in the glamping tent! It was so cute and well laid out! The rainfall shower was relaxing and had the best water pressure. The description of the tent said one queen bed and one twin over full bunk- it was definitely twin over twin so max stay would be 4 people. And I know it’s outside and camping but there were a ton of spiders:) No complaints as it is camping but it surprised me how many of those little guys made their way in to the tent! The campground was clean and so many things to do including swimming, hot tub, jumping pillow, horseshoes, mini golf, live music and food truck on Friday night. The campground does sit on a busy highway so the pool and golf area are a bit noisy- the campsites close to the road would likely hear traffic noise as well. The glamping sites are in back of the park and very quiet with a nice forest view. It was really close to a ton of area attractions- we did Bear country 2 minutes away, Cosmos mystery area 10 minutes away, Mount Rushmore 20 minutes away, and Custer State Park about 35 minutes away! 10 minutes to Rapid City businesses if you need groceries or forgot something.
