Our rustic yet modernized cabins were built in 1937 and provided all the comforts of home. Perhaps, a wedding destination, family reunion, small company retreat or a destination for relaxing while enjoying our mountain streams and quiet peaceful settings under our 80 foot spruce trees. Our stay at Melissa’s Hipcamp site was incredible! The cabins were so nice and cozy, and the outdoor kitchen and shower were great. The property is beautiful and we were so happy we got to stay there on our road trip. I only wish we could have been there for longer!! We will definitely be coming back!

Space was very clean and quiet! Shower room and bathrooms clean and easy to find. Was a bit tough to find the silo in the dark- but host was very helpful and gave us directions. Don't stay in this place of there's any hint of rain- the mental roof leaves little to the imagination. Sounded like a herd of cattle going across the roof when it rained.

So thankful to Missy and Chris for sharing their property! They are not only gracious hosts, but just really wonderful humans. The duo cabin set up is amazing! They had everything you need to to relax, cook, and enjoy nature. We also had great neighbors that joined for a fire at night and swapped stories while enjoying the evening. Oh, and I can't forget to mention the outdoor shower is a heavenly way to wash off a day of exploring. I can't wait to spend more time at Naked Acres!

I definitely enjoyed it there for nite in playhouse cabin… definitely beautiful view. Went there last min plan… especially walking thru the wilderness area it awesome and see deers n turkeys n even small bobcat… plan go back again. Town of Sturgis is awesome !! Must stop by for all bikers

Melissa and Chris were very welcoming & their property is absolutely gorgeous. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing getaway with beautiful scenery & wildlife. The pond was a great added bonus. The cabins were so charming and we didn’t want for anything, as everything was already thought of by the hosts. We will definitely be back and plan on bringing some friends as it’s a must see. Also the drive in was surrounded by wildflowers. Stunning!

First and foremost, Juliana is an amazing host. She greeted me when I arrived, and was thorough in acquainting me with the tipi setup and situation. The tipi stay itself was everything I expected and more. Everyone I told about where I was staying was wowed, and so was I with the experience.
As the name implies, the Devils Tower is the primary attraction, although I’d argue that the tipis are right up there with it. And the view from the tipis site is… devilish. :). I took several photos at various times of the day with my, and other, tipis in perspective with the tower and the Missouri buttes. The sunset photos were amazing.
Speaking of views, there is a small promontory beside the site with a mown path to a point where you get a spectacular view of the tower with the lower valley and canyons in the perspective.
All in all, my stay was amazing and I will likely return.

I rolled in a little after 7pm, and it was quite easy to do an after hours check-in. The bathrooms were clean, towels were soft, and everything was just right after a long drive. Both the mattress and the bedding made it really tough getting up—I was so comfortable! Would happily include this as a stay on any future road trips!

The location is good. It is near Sturgis downtown. It has a nice view. It is on top of a hill so you can see the entire town from above.
The cottage where we stayed was cute and spacious. It could fit four people. The cottage had a microwave oven, a small fridge, and a table and chairs, which made it convenient for a short-term stay.
The price is good it comes with a shower, bath bathtub, and a bathroom. The site is clean and well-maintained.
The staff is nice and helpful.

We stayed in the glamping tent! It was so cute and well laid out! The rainfall shower was relaxing and had the best water pressure. The description of the tent said one queen bed and one twin over full bunk- it was definitely twin over twin so max stay would be 4 people. And I know it’s outside and camping but there were a ton of spiders:) No complaints as it is camping but it surprised me how many of those little guys made their way in to the tent! The campground was clean and so many things to do including swimming, hot tub, jumping pillow, horseshoes, mini golf, live music and food truck on Friday night. The campground does sit on a busy highway so the pool and golf area are a bit noisy- the campsites close to the road would likely hear traffic noise as well. The glamping sites are in back of the park and very quiet with a nice forest view. It was really close to a ton of area attractions- we did Bear country 2 minutes away, Cosmos mystery area 10 minutes away, Mount Rushmore 20 minutes away, and Custer State Park about 35 minutes away! 10 minutes to Rapid City businesses if you need groceries or forgot something.
