This is the only campground resort in the Southern Black Hills with a private lake offering a unique opportunity to relax, disconnect, and enjoy life in a natural setting and guests have been enjoying it for over 100 years. We have a variety of cabins with different floor plans ranging from studio to four bedrooms. All cabins have full bathrooms and all have full kitchens except for our studio cabins. All of our sites are full hook-up with sewer, water, and electric with 20, 30, and 50 amp services at each site. Our pull-through sites are big rig-friendly and are between 60-75 feet long. Our biggest feature is our private spring-fed lake! You can enjoy soaking in the sun, floating in the water, taking a spin around the lake in a canoe, and of course fishing!

The property is extremely close to Custer State Park, Stockade Lake, Bismarck Lake, and Wind Cave National Park. Jewel Cave National Monument, Mount Rushmore, and Crazy Horse Memorial are all within easy driving distance. The camping pad has an overall depth of about 80 feet and a width of about 50 feet. It shares the property with a small A-frame vacation rental, but the two are nearly 450 feet apart, offering plenty of privacy. Please message me with any questions.

Weekend Trip to Pine Haven Lodging

We were on site 10 and it’s leveled. We stayed here on their last weekend of the season. Pine Haven is near Crazy Horse and Mt. Rushmore. It’s on the outside of town but near pretty much everything. If we cross this way again, we definitely would come back here.

Good location for visiting Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park, and Mammoth Site of Hot Springs. Hidden Lake is clean, quiet, and has great trails for walking our dogs. If in the area, we would stay there again.

Hidden Lake was a little slice of paradise. While we were the only ones in a tent and not an RV, people were nice and we had a blast swimming and paddle boarding on the lake. Tons of wildlife and the bathrooms were well located and clean. Amazing stay, would definitely recommend!

Very pretty and very quiet place to rest and recoup. Love seeing the cows up, close lots of turkeys and listening to the tree frogs at night. I would highly recommend anyone coming up to stop and camp there. We’re driving a class a 40 foot motorhome although it’s tight getting in we did it with no problem.

We were rustic camping in our car. The area provided for this was unusual. It wasn’t divided into small sites — we just parked a comfortable distance from other campers. The area is unusually beautiful for a campground, with distance views of the Sturgis area through the trees.

Excellent campground. Everything, including WIFI worked very well. Nice old growth trees next to most of the sites. The shower/toilet rooms with a sink were shockingly modern, nice and private. Loved it.

The camp has everything you need. The neighbors were all friendly and quiet at night. The lake was wonderful in the July heat. The views of the surrounding hills are amazing. Lots of good food in town, and Moccasin Hot Springs are totally worth a visit.

I definitely enjoyed it there for nite in playhouse cabin… definitely beautiful view. Went there last min plan… especially walking thru the wilderness area it awesome and see deers n turkeys n even small bobcat… plan go back again. Town of Sturgis is awesome !! Must stop by for all bikers

This was my second time there and I loved it more. The views, the location, the owners and staff are wonderful. It's an easy drive to Spearfish, Deadwood, Keystone, Rapid City and even Custer. So absolutely beautiful. I was in cabins up front and in the back in a tent. The trees, flowers, deer and birds. Lots of birds. Those coming for the rally are going to love it.

This is a great campsite with its view over Sturgis. They offer variable parking for RVs, tents, or just let you go old school sleeping out under the stars. The owners were friendly and helpful in making sure if I needed anything. Don't forget to mark this spot on your road map.
