We are located just 1.5 miles from Exit 38 off I-95 in the small town of Yemassee, SC. Our property is 30 minutes from Beaufort, 45 minutes from Bluffton, 1 hour from Charleston and Hilton Head, and about 1 hour from downtown Savannah, GA. We offer two RV spaces next to our home. Since we are currently traveling, both sites are available, and there will be no vehicles on the property except yours. We do have a security camera with two-way audio if you need assistance. Unless you're traveling together, we only rent one site at a time to ensure privacy. One site features approximately 60 feet of wide concrete driveway with no overhead obstructions. It can accommodate large RVs, although you'll need a long extension cord to reach the nearby 50-amp electrical hookup, as there is no power directly on the pad. The second site has a firm gravel and grass surface with its own RV electrical hookup. A magnolia tree sits off to the side, but it should not interfere with access. Please note that water is not available at this time while we are away, and there are no sewer hookups. Yemassee has a locally owned convenience store that serves fresh hot food daily, as well as a Dollar General just up the road toward I-95. Yemassee Baptist Church and a Methodist church are both nearby. Beaufort is home to Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and features a beautiful downtown waterfront with unique shops and excellent restaurants. Just down the road on Old Sheldon Road, you'll find the historic Old Sheldon Church Ruins, a beautiful site dating back to the Revolutionary War that is perfect for sightseeing and photography. Charleston, Hilton Head, and Savannah are all charming coastal cities known for their history, beaches, shopping, and outstanding dining. We've lived here for more than 20 years, know most of our neighbors, and have always found the area to be safe and welcoming. We hope you enjoy your travels as much as we do and find our property to be a peaceful place to rest for a night or even a week. It's a quiet area, although there is a train depot in town. Amtrak passes through around 7:00 p.m. and again later at night, but the tracks are far enough away that the trains are not very loud.

We love staying here. This is the second time staying here in our 35 ft travel trailer. The hosts are very responsive and kind. It was a nice area for our 2 golden retrievers to be off leash (though their time outdoors was limited due to the heat and humidity). We were able to get to everything we wanted to do very quickly including the Spanish Moss Trail, Hunting Island, Cypress Wetlands, Penn Center, Sands Beach, many trips to Historic Beaufort, and a day trip to Bluffton. We had a great week and would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

We unfortunately had to cancel the day of our reservation. We had a roof leak and need to push through to home. Cancelling was easy and we greatly appreciate that.

1 night at Camp at The Farm - Outside Inn

Amazing time! Very many cute animals that we could get very up close with. Well kept camp sites and a smooth easy check in. We only stayed 1 night passing through but will definitely be back again for a longer stay!
