Weekend Trip to Edisto Island Vacation Rental RV

This was our 2nd stay with Ron. It's a great choice for us. We can bring our 2 labs...who love the beach...and it's just a 5 minute drive to the state park beach. Ron provides a parking pass that saves us $16 a day. The camper is clean and supplies all bedding and kitchen items plus bath towels and toiletries...just bring your toothbrush and settle in. We'll be back!

4 nights at Edisto Island Vacation Rental RV

Ron was a great host. He made sure we had plenty of fire wood every day and provided a large spot to walk our two dogs. The location was super close to everything Edisto had to offer. Ron's lot was super private and surrounded by the state park. Edisto was a super cute town with a very clean beach & no crowds. The restaurants around were all great too. We had a great time!

I needed a very last minute spot, and Frances was so nice and led me to a great spot to park! Just stayed the night so I wasn’t able to check out all that she had to offer, but I would stay again!

The land was absolutely gorgeous! Frances was so welcoming, as well as Stella the lab. A perfect camping experience all around.

2 nights at Hidden Acres

This was an excellent place for us to stay as we explored the Charleston area. The property was private and we felt very secure during our stay here. The host, Jeff, met us at the gate when we pulled in. He was very amiable and gave us good tips about the area. The driveway onto the property was a dirt and gravel mix. Despite the recent rains, our campervan had no problems driving in and out of our camping spot. The camping spot itself had a nice large and level gravel pad to park on. We heard owls hooting both nights of our stay. You wouldn't know that you we in the midst of a suburban setting. The location is very close to the Historic Charleston District. Only about a 15 to 20 minutes drive away. We would definitely stay here again if our travels take us to this area again.

We arrived late and it was dark and we really just used it as a stopover for the night and it was fine. The site was flat, no complaints.

It was a nice level open area. Quite night, I could hear an Owl hooting. There was a TT on site which I assume belongs to the host. I felt I had total privacy. The cleared land for parking was far enough in back of property off the road so you do not hear any cars. No trees overhead so charging my solar was easy. Opening the gate was easy enough to manage by myself. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Would stay again and definitely recommend.

It’s exactly as described, and the neighbors don’t seem to mind. Some occasional noise from neighbors down the street, but overall a good spot to get some rest

Your site backs up to the Edisto Beach State Park where there are miles of amazing hiking and biking trails running through the maritime forest, and while on the trails you can visit the State Park's Environmental Learning Center to take part in their incredible interactive exhibits and learn about the natural history of the island and it's sea life. You will definitely want to spend time exploring or just relaxing on the beautiful beaches teaming with seashells. If you have a boat, feel free to bring it with you when you come, we are very close to the Live Oak Landing boat ramp where I took the picture of the sunset. As the day winds down to an end you can relax by a campfire or just head inside and kick back and watch a movie from the library of dvd's that are available. The bed is a queen and the dining table area can turn into a full bed. I look forward to having you here to make Edisto Island your next playground.

I have 2 tent camping areas for rent with a view of the Leadenwah Creek. There is 1 large fire pit area which is shared if both sites are occupied. My sweet lab, Stella, lives outside mostly, so she will be around and loves to visit the campers.
