Absolutely FABULOUS getaway. The facilities are beautiful- clean, warm, and welcoming. Leaves you feeling like a home away from home. We were only there for one night- but we didn’t want to leave. We had our own campfire right outside the tent. If you forgot anything - no worries! The camp store had everything you could possibly need. We will most definitely be back.

This was an absolutely adorable place to stay! Everyone was very friendly and it was great that there were shared spaces, but I still felt like I could have privacy at my site. The whole campground was well maintained, and perfectly located between hiking at DuPont State Forest and the night life of Asheville!

This was a delightful glamping experience. The tents are clean and the beds while firm were comfortable. Everything is well maintained. We spent some time in the sauna, w much was nice. There is a little shop adjacent to the common area which has additional supplies and foodstuffs if needed. Great getaway for a weekend or a trip to the woods.

We had a great time enjoying the glamp set up and all the wonderful amenities. It was very nice being in the woods but still close to the water. The boys loved the corn hole and walking the trail/property. That outdoor kitchen was the perfect set up for all our cooking needs. Thank you Steve for being great host. Frostwood is an incredibly well detailed glamping experience. All the small details from the sink with water pumped in to the kitchen details and camp chairs for the fire pit make a stay here feel like a relaxing vacation. Hiking trails are less than a mile away. Appreciated the quick responses from Kris with questions.

The spot was very secluded from other sites on the property and was a great home base for local adventures. Vicki was quick to respond with communications and very accommodating during our stay. The highway noise is definitely noticeable, as noted by others, but the provided ear plugs were a nice touch! The shower was hot and very welcomed after a long day of hiking.

The treehouse was amazing! It is thoughtfully layed out & just beautiful to wake up in the trees! This is my 2nd time to CSBC ( rented the corn crib before 2 yrs ago). Can see all the improvements made on the land. Super convenient to Flat Rock ( went to Carl Sandburg house) & Hendersonville for the Apple Festival. My friends are all jealous after seeing the pictures & hopefully they’ll book a night or two in the future.

Hard to find a more thoughtfully curated glamping experience than Kristiphers yurt! Very homey and comfy with everything you'd need to have a great experience. Great privacy, amazing location (walking distance to some great hiking trails and minutes to many others! Looking forward to coming back!
