Firewood provided, firepit, private. Fire extinguisher is inside. A bucket of sand is available, and another bucket you can fill with water from the shower. Ensure it is extinguished. Check or ask for burn bans that may be in affect.

On leash. There is a county wide leash law, and there are always dogs being lost in the forest. We have various types of animals on our property we raise, so pay extra attention to your pet.

Grill over firepit, private, stovetop or hot plate, fridge, cookware, cooking utensils, dishware, cutlery, basic seasoning and oils, sink or other dishwashing station. Gas cooktop, firepit with grill for cooking. Small electric cooler provided. Basic kitchen items are supplied.

Please take down the umbrella if wind is high.

Wifi available

There is wifi available for calls and texts, as there is no cell service. I suggest pre downloading anything you want access to in advance, i.e. music, movies, maps, etc.

Bring your own water, purify from tap. 100 gallons of well water is stored for the yurt.

Frostwood - Forest Yurt Escape

Frostwood is an incredibly well detailed glamping experience. All the small details from the sink with water pumped in to the kitchen details and camp chairs for the fire pit make a stay here feel like a relaxing vacation. Hiking trails are less than a mile away. Appreciated the quick responses from Kris with questions.

Hard to find a more thoughtfully curated glamping experience than Kristiphers yurt! Very homey and comfy with everything you'd need to have a great experience. Great privacy, amazing location (walking distance to some great hiking trails and minutes to many others! Looking forward to coming back!
