We renovated it in 2022 and 2023, and turned it into a cozy, midcentury modern style Glamper. We tried to plan for every comfort you could want or need, from wifi and a smart TV, to a cute bathroom, Keurig and an Air Fryer. We hope you love it as much as we do. Please note, it is tight quarters, especially for more than two people and large framed people. For this reason, we only allow two guests. We live on a busy street, but the backyard is peaceful and serene. The airstream is parked next to our creek, where waterfowl abound. Only one vehicle allowed.

We've personally found it to be super fulfilling to distinguish our real desires and needs, from the ones we've been groomed to pursue. It's invigorating to then customize our path-less-traveled life. How cool it would be to have been a positive memory along another person's journey. We are trying to figure out if a family can use their own hands and some grit to handcraft a life that you don't need a vacation from. Or better yet, that you would vacation to. Have we done that? You be the judge. Years ago we left our Miami handcrafted furniture business to pursue this new goal. We set out to build an inspiring experience in simple, eco-friendly living that would find a harmony between some of the old fashioned world that we'd found ourselves missing, and the handful of modern advancements that were actually beneficial. All this, while keeping it classy ;-) At Heirloom Hamlet, you will see us designing unique cabins, using solar energy, and composting organics. We're bread baking, pasta making, timber milling, woodworking, clay-forming and metal pounding. The goal is to evolve into a small world of self-reliance and in better harmony with nature. Ani and I are big believers in being mindful and respectful of our environment wherever reasonable. Through good design, our goal is to show just how "normal" small living can feel. To be completely transparent, though, the creative inside us would also like to inspire onlookers. We've personally found it to be super fulfilling to distinguish our real desires and needs, from the ones we've been groomed to pursue. It's invigorating to then customize our path-less-traveled life. How cool it would be to have been a positive memory along another person's journey. Visiting with us, we sure hope our guests don't expect to find a corporate approach to life here, that they can appreciate some of our old-fashioned ways. but our presentation at Heirloom Hamlet has been purposefully designed to be a refreshing hideaway from the norm.

We had a great experience and highly recommend camping here. Curt was very responsive and helpful, and he sent clear instructions before our arrival. We arrived after dark, and he personally came over to help us get oriented to the property and its amenities. He has done an incredible job. Every detail is not only well executed but truly artistic. Curt clearly cares about the experience and goes above and beyond with his hospitality. For context, I spend over 100 nights a year in my camper van and have stayed in many places, and this was one of the best experiences we’ve had. Final word: great value and well worth the price

What a gorgeous farm! The pigs and fowl were so sweet, and the nanny goat seemed to like us! Emily and I were so so happy and honored to find such a special place! We would love to come back again when we can spend more time and learn about the farm’s history and actually meet you all. Thank you for setting everything up. It was perfect.

Which state at the same site last year, which is why we booked again for this year. Very clean bath house, washing machine and dryer that had detergent provided. Very peaceful, even though it’s right off the interstate.

What a lovely spot! Convenient, quiet and all that you need. We stayed for 3 nights and will go again I am sure. Enjoyed all the animals especially Rupert the cat, we miss him already! The hosts were fantastic, checked in a couple times and close enough if you need them but you also have privacy.

This was a roomy, clean and super quiet marsh-side campsite for our rigs! Though we usually boondock it, it was nice to have an on-site bathroom and shower that was WARM, this was especially helpful since one of us brought their 3 year old daughter. Speaking of warm, there was ample firewood onsite, and even though we brought our own, we found ourselves using a few pieces over time. When we got bored of staring out over the marsh, it was nice to wander from the campsite down the small road and around the saltwater pond. Captain John was awesome enough to text a picture of the entrance and all necessary instructions which made getting there and. Getting setup super simple. We will be coming back to stay again in the near future.

We're Charleston locals and wanted to do something fun and spontaneous and be out in nature. We took our SUV out there, spent the evening grilling steaks over the fire, enjoying the hot tub, and watched a movie in the gazebo before sleeping in the back of our SUV. This place has everything: - firewood on site to purchase - water and electrical hook ups - high speed internet - Smart TV under a bug-screened gazebo, so you can eat and chill while watching a movie - fully furnished bathroom with a washer/dryer if you need to run laundry or just dry off your towels after the hot tub - outdoor shower with hot water It was a really cool date night and gave us a chance to get away from work and the city for a quiet night by the fire

I've stayed here multiple times and each time has been a pleasure. Quiet, easy access, DONKEYS, cows! Last couple times we only saw the livestock from a distance, this time they came up and introduced themselves too us as they were checking on camp. What a pleasant experience to have morning coffee with a ?mini? Donkey. :)

Curt and wife have really got the focus on what they enjoy. Back to nature. Building a property that they can really enjoy. The property really shows their background in furniture design and building. Loved the bath house/ toilet he built . The free range chickens and the solar panel areas were a great design feature. Curt clearly has a clear vision of what makes them happy. Good location from I 95.
