Additionally, we raise vegetables and do a lot of agri-tourism including: summer camps, school field trips, and a large pumpkin patch maze each year.Our accommodations include a vintage camper, primitive campsites along a salt water creek, and an RV area on our farm.We are located just 30 minutes from nearby beaches and downtown Charleston. Use our property as your base of operation as you have fun at the beach or tour the historic city, or just stay for a quiet get away in the woods.There is also a lot of wildlife such as: wild turkeys, woodstorks, raccoons, and alligators. We're Charleston locals and wanted to do something fun and spontaneous and be out in nature.
We took our SUV out there, spent the evening grilling steaks over the fire, enjoying the hot tub, and watched a movie in the gazebo before sleeping in the back of our SUV.
This place has everything:
- firewood on site to purchase
- water and electrical hook ups
- high speed internet
- Smart TV under a bug-screened gazebo, so you can eat and chill while watching a movie
- fully furnished bathroom with a washer/dryer if you need to run laundry or just dry off your towels after the hot tub
- outdoor shower with hot water
It was a really cool date night and gave us a chance to get away from work and the city for a quiet night by the fire

I've stayed here multiple times and each time has been a pleasure. Quiet, easy access, DONKEYS, cows! Last couple times we only saw the livestock from a distance, this time they came up and introduced themselves too us as they were checking on camp. What a pleasant experience to have morning coffee with a ?mini? Donkey. :)

The location on Google maps is accurate, but to find the last stretch you have to offroad a bit. RAV4s can get in all day, but I'd be worried about sportier sedans. The 5 sites are pretty much next to each other in a forested area. Has an outhouse (vault toilet) and a porta potty. They also have firewood for sale on site which is nice. Overall pretty bare-bones for a campsite but gets the job done and location is great!

Truly a hidden gem. My daughter and I had a daddy/daughter weekend while mom was away for work. It was the most relaxing trip, very peaceful with the exception of some people doing what I assume was target practice for awhile. The site was excellent. We spent most of the time in the gazebo watching movies. The hot tub is different than pictured and is an inflatable one. Make sure it's on and running when you get there. Very nice bathroom and OUTDOOR shower. I already have another trip planned in a a few months. Dustin was excellent with communication and always responded very quickly.

Hanscomb point plantation gave us all we could handle and then some. Beautiful sites, perfect tree coverage due to our weather situation, Interesting pathways to travel due to that weather, but all in all a fantastic experience for our Troop to rest and grow as campers while staying in the area for the weekend. Thank you for the opportunity to stay on your land, some of those water hazards worried me for a bit when traveling out, but we managed like true scouts and blazed new pathways forward along the way. Would recommend your camping area to any asking.
