I have 2 tent camping areas for rent with a view of the Leadenwah Creek. There is 1 large fire pit area which is shared if both sites are occupied. My sweet lab, Stella, lives outside mostly, so she will be around and loves to visit the campers. This is a NO SMOKING property.

They sit right on the edge of a beautiful saltwater marsh where you can watch redfish feeding, dolphins playing, and the most glorious sunrises you’ll ever see. The natural splendor of the place is only outshined by Frances herself; warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. She makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Our stay at Frances’s place was absolutely wonderful. The property is stunning — wide open downs, breathtaking sunsets, and that golden-hour light that makes everything glow. It’s a peaceful, beautiful spot that feels both grounding and inspiring. We also really enjoyed sharing the space with another camper — everyone was very friendly and very generous, which made the experience even more special. Frances’s generosity, warmth, and hospitality are truly unparalleled. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable throughout our stay. You can feel how much care and heart she puts into hosting. We left feeling relaxed, grateful, and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended!

We stay here every year...it never disappoints! Ron is a thoughtful and kind host...the property is well maintained, beautifully decorated,and is stocked with everything you need to have an excellent experience! Ron has added a new covered swing, which we loved and replaced several items to ensure proper working order (new grill and outdoor table/chairs). I chose this site the first year because it's pet friendly...we have returned each subsequent year because we absolutely love this place and feel so comfortable here with our Siberian Huskies!

This spot has the most amazing sunsets! Great for fishing and kayaking. Fran is an awesome host and always accommodating. Stella is always your guide around the property. Weekend Trip to Camp on the Creek

We really enjoyed camping here! It's a beautiful and peaceful property. My dog loved jumping off the dock trying to catch the shrimp jumping out the the water as the tide rolled out. There's an abundance of wildlife here. We saw armadillos running though the trees, caught little crabs scurrying across the dock, and watched the shorebirds hunt the fish that were schooling everywhere. Fran is a wonderful, kind host. It was also a pleasure having her dog, Stella, join us around the fire and our walks down to the water. I definitely plan on staying here again!

I would love to Keep this place a secret but I simply can’t. This place is beautiful and great for sight fishing for red drum. Frances is an amazing host that will accommodate you in any way possible. Stella is your night time host. She will stand guard by your tent all night long. She also will guide you around the property while keeping you safe even at night. She also makes a great campfire companion as it seems to be her favorite place. Tons of wildlife around the area and also a great spot for crabbing. Best experience so far!

Ron was an excellent host, greeting us at the campsite when we arrived! He even had firewood chopped up and everything. Ron helped us find an easy bike rental so we could explore the island on bike. Botany Bay is a close car ride away and beautiful at sunrise, as is sunset at the pier on state park land. Everything we were looking for in a summer camping trip: seclusion, great fire pit, and a necessity for June/July in SC: air conditioning. Such a good time! Thanks Ron!
