The level, dirt/gravel site could be easily accessed. With hookups for electricity & water one can enjoy the surrounding forest and nearby lake view. During my sojourn I saw not one person near the site and enjoyed peaceful, serene solitude with adequate cell-phone signal. One can sleep easily with distant, muted highway noise. This was a prime camping spot.

The campsite was gorgeous and felt very private. The land is beautiful and my hosts were so helpful and gracious. The only piece of information folks might need is that an off-leash dog roamed from a nearby property and sniffed around the campsite on multiple days. Every time I saw the dog in advance, and there were no incidents with my pets as a. I interacted with the dog who was very sweet but I did not feel comfortable introducing my dogs to these dogs just in case. My hosts communicated with me about the issue and did their best to offer solutions. I don't think this would be a showstopper for people without pets at all, and not necessarily even for those with them as long as you are careful.

Lovely campsite with everything needed to make life a little easier. The bathroom and shower houses were cute and clean. The surroundings felt like you were in the country, but you were only 20 minutes from town amenities. Fantastic hosts who made sure everything was perfect and very responsive to questions. It was very quiet and private, yet close enough to town with great restaurants and the Darlington Raceway (we came for the NASCAR race) that it wasn’t inconvenient.
