This is such a prime location - right on the bike trail and a stones throw from the brewery and coffee shop. Plus an easy mile stroll to downtown Hendersonville. The spot is wide open so not for those who want seclusion. Also, don’t bother with firewood, just stroll a couple hundred feet to brewery and their fire pits.

We stayed in our camper van for a few nights. It’s a super beautiful place with cool chickens and ducks and turkeys. Nice area to walk around. Vicki was an awesome host and a super cool person! Will be back !

Great tent area next to a small creek with fire pit, covered picnic table, and a tent pad. A short walking path takes you to a custom built outhouse and a hot shower. Vicki and Brian were great hosts and provided some awesome guitar/violin tunes around the community campfire.

We loved our stay at Peace of Pisgah! It was the perfect home base - close to great hiking trails, breweries, and restaurants. The hot shower was amazing, especially after a long day of hiking. Would stay again!!

I have traveled the US quite a bit and this was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had.
From the host communication to the beautiful setting, it is hard to imagine a better spot this near the national forest!
The hosts were so kind through the booking process and happy to answer my questions.
What a perfect location, a short drive from the Land of the waterfalls and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
The campground itself is beautifully built. Communal fire pit, central outdoor kitchen and a hot shower.
I read some reviews about road noise but in my RV there was absolutely no problem.
This is a place I would have gladly extended my stay if not for previous plans.
Highly recommended!

Vicki’s land is a sweet get away! We loved the chickens but especially enjoyed meeting her turkey Sweet Pea! She has a great nature walk on the property. Also the shower was divine after a day of biking. Vicki is making her property magical for guests to enjoy and wishing her all the best!

I booked site 1 as a base camp for a 4 day climbing trip in Pisgah National Forest. i chose Peace of Pisgah because of its location, amenities, and previous guests' reviews.
The Booking:

Booked through Hipcamp, and true to the other reviewers' experience, the host reached out with a welcome email containing all the relevant details for the stay within 24 hrs. They also sent reminder and direction emails in advance of my trip date. Plus they are super-close to the south entrance to Pisgah National Forest, between Turkey Pens and US276.
The Arrival:

Directions were perfect. Access to the campground and the site were straightforward. The turn-off of NC280 is initially paved and then a well-maintained gravel road. You do not need a 4x4 or a truck to get to the campground or your campsite. I have 2021 Ranger and there were no issues, and I would have no problem driving our minivan in/out of here. A larger vehicle might not be able to get positioned without doing a minor 3-point turn, but nothing beyond what you would have to do anywhere else.
My campsite, Site 1 Creekside, had level parking as large as advertised and there was plenty of vertical clearance for taller vehicles. I had enough room in the spot to back my truck in and have a popup 10x10 canopy over the tailgate and there was still another 8~10' to spare in the spot.

Nice road to get there and good gravel at the spot. Short drive to the river. Neighboring campers were very quiet. Amazing hosts gave us privacy and they were super responsive for our many questions with so many suggestions. If you’re looking for a launch pad for the area, this is great.

It is directly on the road but almost no cars. We felt absolutely secluded even being on the road. Almost zero traffic the whole day. Nice playground for kids. Super clean water. Super clean spot and good graveled lot. Definitely a great time.

Amazing campsite! Vicki was very friendly and hospitable. The sites are well kept with community supplies for anything you may not have or forgot. Highly recommend if you will be in Pisgah Forest! Very reasonable pricing and amazing overall experience.

This was a nice spot to set up camp close to Brevard an lots of waterfalls/hikes. There's a nice community area with water, outhouse, charging station, shower, and a few dishes/cooking utensils for us to use. It is close to a busy road so there was quite a lot of road noise at night.

We wanted to adventure with our dogs in Pisgah forest and this was the perfect place to do that! The campsite was only a 10 minute drive from the entrance to the forest so we got to be some of the first hikers to hit the most popular spots like Looking Glass Falls and Johns Rock! The outdoor shower house was unexpectedly luxurious, with fast hot water and the compost toilet was very clean and didn’t smell at all! We definitely plan to come back.

My husband and his brother enjoyed camping for three nights on Vicki’s property. Great campsite, particularly the shower. Close to everything in Brevard! Vicki was a gracious host. There is some road noise, particularly during the day, but it quiets down at night. She does have chickens and a rooster.
