A++! Beth called me not long after I booked; ensured I was squared away on where to find them and position myself on their property. Even messaged me a bit later with a couple recommendations on good local coffee spots! Great spot near Brevard, whether you only need a "park-up" for a night like I did, or have a modest rig and benefit from being plugged in for a couple days.

Beth and Rob were awesome Hosts, and they have an amazing property! I car/tent camped at Site 5 for 3 nights. My favorite thing to do was sitting on my "lawn", reading a good book, and listening to the creek. So relaxing. Four of the Dispersed Sites on the level below were filled on the weekend. The entire place was still nice and quiet.
The outdoor shower was wonderful, and the Port-a-Potty was clean and serviced weekly.
My Granddaughter is a Freshman at Brevard College, and Trails & Tails Waterfall HipCamp will be my home away from home when I visit! 😊

I stayed for three nights while visiting nearby family and needed a peaceful place to pitch my tent. (I actually prefer sleeping on the ground when traveling alone.) I was so fortunate to have chosen this spot over all the other possibilities!
I stayed at the “A” site — super quiet to the point that I didn’t even need my earplugs. There were a few other campers, but they were hardly noticeable, and there was no nearby traffic noise at all. The running brook next to the tent site added a peaceful, relaxing background sound that made my stay even better.
My hosts were warm and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. I could tell they were truly in touch with Mother Earth and cared for the land in a thoughtful way.
I’m already looking forward to coming back with my partner to explore more of the hiking and biking opportunities in this beautiful area.

This is such a prime location - right on the bike trail and a stones throw from the brewery and coffee shop. Plus an easy mile stroll to downtown Hendersonville. The spot is wide open so not for those who want seclusion. Also, don’t bother with firewood, just stroll a couple hundred feet to brewery and their fire pits.

Great spot to camp. Very private but also accessible to Brevard and Pisgah and Dupont forests, among everything else in the area. Finn and I appreciated how dog-friendly the site was.
Beth was so helpful for recommendations on hiking, dog-friendly dining, etc.

Trails & Tails Waterfalls Retreat is the kind of campsite you hesitate to rave about only because you want to keep it a secret. Beth and Rob are the heartbeat of this place, thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely invested in every guest having an easy, memorable stay. Their love for dogs isn’t just a “pet-friendly” checkbox; it’s woven into the whole experience. From the warm welcome to the way they check in without hovering, you feel cared for, like staying with friends who just happen to run an impeccably kept campground.
Location-wise, you can’t beat it. You’re tucked into a quiet, woodsy nook with a small babbling brook setting the soundtrack, yet you’re close to everything in the Brevard and Mills River area—trails, waterfalls, food, and gear shops are all an easy drive. It’s the perfect basecamp: peaceful when you’re here, convenient when you’re out.
If you’re in a van or towing a small travel trailer, the upper Sites 4 and 5 are money—easy to settle into, nicely situated, and especially well-suited for compact rigs. The whole property feels calm and homey, with just the right balance of privacy and community.
Bottom line: stellar hosts, a dog-loving vibe done right, and a quiet, cozy setting close to everywhere you want to be. We’ll absolutely be back.

Beth and her husband were incredibly welcoming to my family and me, and their property was the perfect spot for our camping trip. The site offered plenty of privacy, and our boys and dogs had an amazing time playing in the field and stream. Beth was so kind to our kids (ages 5 and 7) and shared wonderful suggestions for local activities. It truly felt like being welcomed home. We’ll definitely be returning!

We had a great time staying on Beth’s land! The campsite was wide and comfortable, the port-a potty was easy to access, and the whole property was well maintained. We really appreciated Beth and Rob’s recommendations and local knowledge! It was a perfect base to explore Brevard from, and we would definitely recommend!

We had a great weekend camping at Beth’s property! The dispersed camping sites were very spacious and had lounge chairs and fire pits right along the small creek. It was peaceful to listen to the creek/water running at night. Close walk to the portapotty and a common space with games and tables. Very kid & dog friendly. We would definitely return!

Trails and tails is a very quaint spot to set up camp. It's a simple camp with a relaxing vibe and very friendly host. It was great getting to know Beth and Rob. We had a couple of misunderstandings, but our group still had a great time and created some long lasting memories.
I would highly recommend staying with Beth and Rob if you are tent camping, or in a van or small camper, not needing any hookups.
I failed to read through all of the details of the campsite, which I take full responsibility for not doing. I was led to believe there would be water hook ups on our site because of the way Hipcamp has the host list the amenities.
They do offer potable water, but its not available for direct hook up at the sites, specifically 4 and 5. We had a few miscommunications figuring out how to make everything work out for everyone, but it all worked out and again, we very much enjoyed our stay.
If you come here primarily self sustained, and will appreciate the simplicity of an outdoor shower, piece and quiet, and good company, I highly recommend staying at Trails and Tales.
Both Beth and Rob are very nice people and very interesting, being outdoor lovers, runners, mountain bikers and just good hearted people. Support this hipcamp, they are some of the good ones.

Our group enjoyed our stay with Beth and Rob. Both host are very friendly in addition to being really interesting. They are very knowledgable of the area and full of interesting stories from time spent all over the country.
Ask Beth about the camp for kids she ran, aiming to get kids outside and off their phones.
Ask Rob about the local mountain bike trails.
But more importantly, enjoy the peaceful accommodations of Trails and Tails. It's a little natural paradise right there, minutes from Brevard.

Beth and Rob are fabulous hosts. They didn’t miss a beat. Kept us informed of all potential changes to sites that made the experience even better! My sister and I were traveling in separate rigs and had sites apart from each other, but when they found that out they moved us together as soon as it was possible. The sites are really great and they are very close to Mount Pisgah. Beth is great at communicating.

What a lovely spot for our Aliner camper. We were in spot #5, very private with beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the fire ring, outside shower (with hot water🙂), and easy access to so many things-Brevard, Pisgah Nat’l Forest, Dupont Forest, and the airport! Beth and Rob were great hosts with wonderful recommendations for the area. Super stay!
