We purchased this property approximately 20 years ago just to have a nice quiet place to go on weekends to relax. We were in Construction Business and just needed to escape phones and doorbells. We've been here ever since. Love the serenity and Lake. A wonderful Private place to escape and enjoy the outdoors with friends and family. You drive thru the woods about 1400 lf and come out at Beautiful Lake Greenwood. Campers catch nice fish right off the Dock. Safe place for Kiddos and Family.

I hobbled into Sunny Day Adventures on an almost-flat tire on Christmas Eve, thinking I would have to wait until the day after Christmas to get it repaired and then continue on my journey. But, lo and behold, the host has a tire shop behind the house! Joe patched up the tire on Christmas morning and I was on my way. What a Christmas blessing!
Extremely kind hosts, sweet family and cute Airedale puppy.
The camping spot has a full hook-up behind a little building used as an Airbnb. It is on a rather busy road, but the noise was barely noticeable. It felt like a peaceful country setting, even though it's just a couple of minutes from the historic town of Abbeville.
I highly recommend Sunny Day Adventures!

Amazing campsite. Great views for the sunrise and sunset. The host is amazing, his dogs are even better. If you like to fish... The ponds are well stocked. I caught 3 catfish in about 20 minutes. Amazing spot

My family had a great time! Nice, simple little camp spot in the woods with a campfire. Completely secluded and quiet. Great views of the stars with no lights. Lots of wood around, but would recommend bringing some of your own. Small wildlife and deer. The host was very helpful. I would recommend! 👍

Beautiful! Clean! The grass was so soft. Perfect for barefoot walking. Bees and dragonflies buzzing in harmony, like surround sound, while fishing. Lots of big fish being caught all around me making kids squeal and laugh. I became the personal chef for a sneaky, pond turtle who loved my bait. Taking pictures of the beauty was my favorite experience.

I stayed at Leach Homestead for two nights and had a great experience. Vick was very friendly and responsive, which made the stay even better. One of the dogs, Blue, is super sweet—she’ll happily hang out with you if you’re up for some company. I didn’t fish, but I saw plenty of big fish in both ponds, and the birdwatching was excellent with lots of different species around. It was great having a bathroom and shower available. Overall, it’s a great spot and I’d definitely come back!

We booked this Hipcamp last minute while travelling the SCAR and couldn’t have been more pleased. The site was amazing! The view of the large pond was absolutely beautiful and made for a peaceful, scenic stay. It was great to have access to a hot shower and bathroom. Best of all, this campground is off leash friendly. Our dogs love romping around and exploring new areas. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet escape that also has great fishing!

I highly recommend Victor place. My family went there on a daddy daughter camping trip.The property is beautiful.The fishing is great and he was very helpful. My daughter said it was the best camping trip ever! Only issue we had was using the directions from this app, they were off a little. Found out through him that he also offers twenty dollar day fishing and will absolutely be taking him up on that.
We will definitely be back!

Karen was great, highly communicative, and extremely friendly. They went above and beyond and made sure trees that had fallen due to a storm the night before were taken care of and provided no safety issues! Nestled in a beautifully wooded 9-acre lot, this spot offers the perfect mix of seclusion and serenity. The trees provide plenty of shade and privacy.
The site itself is well-maintained, with a nice flat areas for our tent. There was plenty of space to explore which made you forget how close to city life you were.
Whether you’re looking to unplug and unwind or just want a peaceful base for other adventures, this spot is great for either. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a private spot to pitch a tent or park an RV.
