4 nights at Trails & Tails Waterfalls Retreat

We absolutely loved camping in the SylvanSport Go on Beth's land! Beth and Rob are very kind folks who tend to a gorgeous, peaceful piece of land. Brevard and Pisgah National Forest are an easy drive from the property. It's the perfect basecamp for many outdoor adventures. We're so grateful we found Beth's land and will be frequent visitors!!

Peter, his communication and property are excellent. Truly enjoyed our stay, the accommodations, and the area. The sleeping area and deck are fantastic. The views are amazing. The lake and the surrounding areas are just close enough. But not too close. Private. Quite. So relaxing. We will be back.

3 nights at At the Ridge Camp-Riverside Escapes

The cabin was cozy and perfectly nestled right on the river—just steps from the water. Loved listening to the sound of the current, watching the campfire flames, and waking up to birdsong. Great spot for a relaxing weekend, unplugging (literally), and enjoying nature. The various hosts and helpers were friendly and ready to assist. It's not fancy, but exactly what is needed at a great value. When you normally tent camp, carcamp/boondock, hike/backpack, it's all an upgrade!! This was my 3rd visit and will definitely be back! Only couple things to note, that some might want to know beforehand: there are 1 or 2 'resident RVs' other than the campground host in the campground and some (hunting?) dogs across the river/road that bark occasionally.

3 nights at Creekside Cabin at Lake Hartwell

Thoroughly enjoyed my long weekend at the Cabin. The vibes were so calm and restorative. The hot tub was the perfect touch, and there’s enough privacy here to be in one’s own little world. Would highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Persimmon Farm

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to unwind and relax. Owners are extremely friendly and quick to respond with any questions. The treehouse is cozy with a very comfortable bed and wonderful loft for the kiddos. Bathhouse is very clean and nice to have indoor/outdoor shower options with hot water! They supplied firewood and we had our hotdogs and s’mores. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. What a lovely getaway.

6 nights at Mountaintop Fantasy

Very beautiful views and kids loved the treehouse. The host were very kind and accommodating. I would recommend downloading the region on Google maps before heading out since cell phone service is spotty. Our favorite spot on the visit was Cashiers Sliding Rock, we probably spent 8 hours out there in total.

Weekend Trip to Indian Creek Rental's Mountain Camp

My partner and I had a great stay in the Moonshine camper! The site is awesome with outdoor furniture and cooking equipment provided. The restrooms are also very close and clean. We are already looking forward to coming back in the future!

Super sweet and helpful staff! Bed was comfortable, river outside the cabin was absolutely beautiful. The cabin as clean and adorable. So many things to do nearby! Reception isn’t great but there’s a community center right up the road not even half a mile with open network that works great and they do have a WiFi spot on the campground as well. The cell service was not even close to a deal breaker this place felt like a home away from home! We absolutely loved it!

Weekend Trip to Trails & Tails Waterfalls Retreat

Beth and Rob are wonderful! There property is secluded and the camp site was very clean and private. The outdoor shower was awesome and it was easily accessible. Beth and Rob greeted us upon arrival. Made recommendations for our biking adventures in Dupont and places to eat and visit in Brevard. We plan to visit again next month but I highly recommend for families, couples and mountain bikers

Weekend Trip to Field Trip Glamping Travelers Rest

While we didn’t get to stay in the dome due to a booking challenge, the host placed us in a super cute A-frame. The grounds were clean and inviting. The over the fire pit rack was perfect for some wood grilled burgers!! The hot tub/sauna/cold plunge was spectacular. There was always a wave to be had by the staff as they drove by. Future glamours should know that the in unit “coffee maker” is a French press, which in a unit with electricity, was a little disappointing, since the trek to get boiling water was at a coffee vending station. Otherwise, it served the purpose well for a beautiful outdoor getaway.

Beth and Rob were very friendly and helpful. The site was level and well maintained. There is an old greenhouse that is now space to eat, hang out, or use Wi-Fi, although the signal was actually pretty good at the actual campsite. Very convenient location that is both quite and woodsy, yet convient to trails, restaurants and shopping.

3 nights at Hidden Acres Mountain Camping

Hidden Acres is truly a magical place to experience. So much thought and creativity has gone into each and every campsite. Spring Haven is the second site I have had the pleasure to stayed at. I appreciate our hosts for being so nice and welcoming to us. We had such a lovely time and have never relaxed more during our camping trips as we did this past weekend. The campsites are very spacious and not too close to each other so you can definitely have privacy if you want. I enjoyed the free range chickens that were always happy to greet you as you make your way to the bath house. The bath houses were always clean and are very nicely built as well. We also enjoyed feeding the fish in the water feature pond at Spring Haven. They were fun to watch. If you get a chance to experience Spring Haven or any sites available at Hidden Acres you won’t regret it. One of the best camps I have had!

Beth and Rob are incredible hosts and delightful people. We so look forward to our visits to Trails & Tails. As avid camping cyclists with a dog, they have become our base camp for Pisga and Dupont forests. Always full of advice and suggestions. Their site is primitive but impeccably kept with a well maintained porta potty and delightful hot outdoor shower. We love hanging out and playing games in the green house after a long day on the trails or river. Can’t wait to book the next adventure. Susan, Chris, kids and Rey.

The hosts were accommodating pre-trip when I had to change my booking. When I arrived, check in was easy, Mark provided maps and information on the camp and nearby attractions. Camp was well maintained, bathrooms were clean, hot showers! Great Campground!

This property was my childhood home and after retiring, my husband and I moved back to one of the homes on this farm where I grew up. He has since passed and my son, Todd, now helps me maintain the property and assists with ensuring the best experience for our guests. We wanted to offer this space for campers to share the awesome views and this part of North Carolina with others who enjoy nature, outdoors, and all the great things to experience in the surrounding towns. Only a 20 minute drive to Asheville where you can tour Biltmore House, Grove Park, breweries, eat at many great restaurants, enjoy rafting, zip lining and many other outdoor activities. We are 15 minutes from Blue Ridge Parkway with 2-lane, less traveled access road to get there. Bring your bikes and hiking equipment - plenty of room to ride and roam. Other things to note Note from a Guest: Great property for family, couple, or small group This unique farmhouse style home is a great choice for travelers and an excellent venue for gatherings by local residents. It has easy access but the property has abundant trees and is secluded from nearby roads and homes for privacy. The interior, baths, and kitchen are updated but maintain a pleasant farmhouse feel. The host had it perfectly clean and well stocked. It has a bonfire pit and a smaller fire pit for outside gatherings and the hot tub was immaculately clean, heated, and ready for use when we arrived. Kids can enjoy swings and slides. We used it for a small gathering where about a dozen guests gathered during the day and six spent the night. Could not have been happier with property or hosts. Fireworks are legal and permitted within reasonable hours. Horses are welcome.
