Great place! Would recommend this place to anyone with dogs. Mine went in and out of the river all weekend, not worried about other people or them wandering too far. He was kind and helped find local hikes, brought fresh apples and cabbage. Will be back 100%

I loved camping so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The campsite is well situated between the Parkway and Brevard. The site was very quiet and peaceful with the sound of the river right next to our site. We stayed at site 6. Tom, our host, was very kind and knowledgeable about the area. He gave us great local information about great places to see!

We had a great time. We loved having the animals come up to the fence and interact with us. The spot is not level so just know you will need leveling supplies. Loved our visit.

Great spot right on the river! We had a great time at At the Ridge Camp- Riverside Escapes. We are a family of 5 & stayed in cabin #2. It is a rustic camping cabin but was clean, spacious enough for all of us to sleep comfortably & had electricity. The showers were HOT & Tom made sure we had everything needed. They are still rebuilding from Helene but are definitely up & ready for campers! We will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Brex View Cottage

This is the perfect getaway for friends and family to get a taste of the outdoors and the mountains while still being close enough to towns and cities to enjoy good local food. There are tons of hiking and mountain biking trails all within 30 minutes of the site. My wife and I absolutely loved the place and its surroundings. The spring was beautiful and even though there was a lot of rain we enjoyed every second we were there.

Wonderful stay in cabin #2! Host was super helpful with tips on staying warm. It was about 34 degrees and we were very toasty with the 2 space heaters provided. Comfortable beds too!

It was a very pleasant stay. We got there about an hour after sunset and didn't have difficulty finding the property in the dark. Slept well listening to the sound of the river right next to us. I didn't realize that on the other size of the river was a road and we'd also hear cars. We purchased firewood from Carrie, and it was actually $10, not $5 like it mentions on the advertisement. We ended up wanting to get more wood, and that was a bit of a hassle as Carrie isn't actually the one managing the property. There were other people involved in managing the property that we had to communicate with and go find. Ultimately would've been easier to bring our own, but nevertheless we did acquire all the firewood we wanted, albeit all damp. There were some permanent residents on the property in nearby campers, all pleasant. Overall would recommend and may return in the future.

We loved the cabin and hot tub! The cabin was also very well stocked with a few odds and ends in the kitchen like salt and pepper, olive oil, etc. It was so homey and lovely! Thanks to our hosts!!

Great views! All we needed! Rain squelched our plans for more hiking, but having the game room on site helped keep the kids entertained. Clean bathrooms close by and the pasture stayed busy with animal friends. Very close to town but Ray and Shannon were also so willing to help if needed.

Of course, this means there may be all sorts of books on our shelves, which may not represent the opinions or values of your host. If you see something you find offensive or inappropriate, please tuck it away and let us know. - You may eat and play on the whiskey barrel arcade game, however do not move, lean on, or hit the glass top. - If you are sensitive to political signs/flags (US, Confederate, or otherwise), this may not be the right listing for you. Although we do not post affiliations, some surrounding homes do. - Because this is a rural area, we recommend turning off any lights that are not directly in use, as bugs are very prevalent and attracted to light, especially at night. **If you are sensitive to insects (indoor and outdoor), this listing may not be the right fit.** - There is community area access, however it is not always maintained. For boating especially, we recommend the nearest Boat Launch at 499 Choestoea Rd, Westminster, SC, where there are docks, a public launch, and a sandy beach. - The inflatable hot tub can reach temperatures up to 104°F. Due to the nature of inflatable hot tubs, it will lose about 5°F per hour that the lid is off; weather conditions and use of the jets may expedite this cooling. Unlike a traditional hot tub, there are no seats inside. There are flower-shaped sponges in the hot tub, which help keep the water clean. **If you prefer to take these out while in the water, they must be placed back in when you exit. DO NOT throw these over the railing.** After use, please toss 2 sanitizer shock tablets into the water (located above the stove). There will be a video on hot tub operation in your check in directions.

This cabin has a full refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee pot, full size sofa, YouTubeTV, WIFI, 1 full bed with twin bunk, full bath.
